Coalition of <strong>International</strong> <strong>Student</strong>s Meeting<br />

Attend the first General Meeting of the Coalition of <strong>International</strong> <strong>Student</strong>s (CIS) on Wednesday,<br />

September 5. All international students are welcome and international student organizations are<br />

encouraged to send a representative. The General Meeting is a great place to make friends, learn<br />

about upcoming events, and share concerns.<br />

Lux –Undergraduate Creative Review Accepting Submissions<br />

Due Monday, October 15 | Application<br />

Lux, the Undergraduate Creative Review is now accepting submissions of art, poetry, music, film,<br />

fiction, and non-fiction for the 2012-2013 edition of the magazine. Submit now to possibly get<br />

published and win prizes! To submit, email works to luxmag@gmail.com along with an electronic<br />

submission form before the deadline.<br />

Your international student organization is now eligible to receive $500 to host a Global Café. At<br />

Global Café, countries, cultures, and heritages are explored through dynamic and interactive<br />

exhibitions presented (or hosted) by organizations such as yours. Host Organizations are awarded<br />

funds to purchase the goods necessary to produce a particular Global Café; which is a part of MU<br />

After Dark and as such takes place on Friday evenings. Early application submissions will be given<br />
