Design1 Use should be intuitive 2 Large complex pages (larger than 10 screens) should be divided into multiple,smaller files3 Images should not be used for pure decoration but should help conveyinformation4 Every page should have a short, informative, descriptive title 5 Documents divided into multiple pages should include document title 6 Pages should have standard footersElements on these should be Host site Author Creation date Link to homepage Creation date Way to contact author Optional: area codes, time zone information. Optional: Spell out all acronyms (i.e. LIB: Library)1 Individual WebPages within the site should be concise 2 Essential Instructions should appear before links and interactive portions 3 If interactions involve private information, they should be secure 4 Should specify DOCTYPE in your HTML documents 5 The command element which should contain a short (not more than 64characters) but keyword rich name for the page
