The<strong>Roadway</strong> <strong>LX</strong> LED will meld seamlessly into any new or upgraded roadway lighting project. Housing<strong>Roadway</strong> <strong>LX</strong> housing is constructed from durable, corrosion resistant, diecast aluminum. The integral heat sink is cast as part of the fixture housing.The rounded, roadway fixture housing design integrates easily with otherroadway luminaires.Thermal ManagementThe housing includes the integral heat sink making the entire housing partof the thermal management solution. The <strong>Roadway</strong> <strong>LX</strong> is suitable for higherambient temperatures and drive currents without degrading lamp life.Optical SystemThe highest lumen output Evo/C LEDs are utilized in the <strong>Roadway</strong> <strong>LX</strong>series. The Type 3R <strong>Roadway</strong> optic is designed specifically for roadwayapplications. Additional distribution types include Types 1, 2, 3, 4 and5. The optical system qualifies at IES full cutoff. The system is Dark Skycertified to restrict light trespass, glare and light pollution for neighborhoodfriendly lighting. CRI values are 70 for 4000K and 75 for 5500K. <strong>Roadway</strong><strong>LX</strong> fixture is tested in accordance with IESNA LM-79 testing procedures.Quali-Guard Finish<strong>Fixture</strong> components are chemically pretreated through a multi stage washsystem. The finish is an electrostatically applied, thermoset polyesterpowder coat textured paint which is oven-baked at 400 °F for maximumadherence and finish hardness. Two standard colors are available inaddition to many custom colors. The paint finish is guaranteed for five(5) years.MountingThe <strong>Roadway</strong> <strong>LX</strong> mounts directly to roadway mast arms and tenonswith an outside diameter ranging from 1 5/8” to 2 3/8”. An internal fourboltclamp bracket attaches the fixture securely to the mounting arm.Access to the electrical compartment is tool-less making the <strong>Roadway</strong><strong>LX</strong> very user friendly during installation and maintenance. The LED driver,terminal block and LED arrays mount directly to the housing and quickdisconnects are used between the components and incoming leads.Electrical Assembly• The <strong>Roadway</strong> <strong>LX</strong> Series is supplied with a choice of 350 to 700 mAhigh-performance LED drivers that accept 120v thru 480v, 50 Hz to 60Hz, input. Power factor of 95%. Rated for -40 °C operations.• 2 kV surge protector supplied as standard.• Driver is compatible with dimmer from 0-10 volts.WarrantyFive (5) year Limited Warranty on entire system including the paint finishand LED components.
