LIVING ON THE - Arbonne

e oaE Y E O N A R B O N N ELIVING ON THEEDGE OF MY POTENTIALI never could have imagined the experiences, personal growth andfriendships I would discover when my mother, NVP Eunice Ray, and Iwere invited to an Arbonne Presentation in December of 2003. I waslooking for purpose in my life. Little did I know Arbonne would bringboth the means and meaning to my life.My mother suggested Arbonne to me, and within weeks, she and Ijoined the other Consultants who were dedicated to helping others.Jumping in with us were my cousin, ERVP Courtney Dobbs and RVPMarcie Hughes. As partners, we shot to the top and worked with eachother’s uplines, downlines and crosslines. We cheered each other onand encouraged one another to persevere.I soon learned something was wrong when everyone began to promoteto RVP, while I was still struggling to maintain my Area. I was workingthe business, but I was struggling to get other committed businessbuilders on board to add stability to the business. As the old Arbonneaxiom goes, “You can get to DM without a team, but certainly not RVP.”I was committed to success. I would not let this challenge beat me, andquitting was never an option for me. I set out to take stock in my beliefin all areas of my business. My friend, ERVP Joey Davis, gave me abook that quickly transformed my attitude and understanding. I beganto interview as if I had already met my goals in Arbonne. I had faith myk e l l e y f r a n c e s s e a r sIndependent Consultant, Executive Regional Vice PresidentKelley Sears Region; Louisville, KYteam would certainly grow and I began to spend the bulk of my timewith those who understand Arbonne as a fabulous opportunity and whoare in activity.I had tremendous belief in the products from the Prolief natural, botanically-basedcream to the NutriMinC ® RE 9® Repair Corrective Eye Crème.I went to trainings offered by my upline and many other generousArbonne leaders. I listened to every call offered and began to preparefor the team that I was sure to grow.continued ...Kelley and cousin, ERVP CourtneyDobbs at NTC 2004 Texas.Kelley with President Rita Davenportand mom, NVP Eunice Ray on theASAP Hawaii 2005 trip.Kelley with brother, ShelbySears.

“success strategy:What would you attempt to do ifyou knew you could not fail? Some early Consultants who purchased product at a discount began tomove into the business. A few of my strongest business builders werepeople I continually “dripped” on or called for over a year. I moved outof my comfort zone and just went for it. I learned the business was notnecessarily social, and I no longer feared rejection. My rule of thumb is:If you have not been rejected recently, you probably are not living up toyour potential.Everywhere I go, I talk about the Arbonne business and products;whether I am on an airplane or in the grocery store. The next NVP maybe waiting to hear about Arbonne and you could become one if youpresent it to him or her. Where else can you have the potential to determineyour income level based on commitment? Go for it!Thank you to my team, you all are so special.”To my AMs: Thank you. To Bobbie Trimble: Your excitement is contagiousand I am so glad we are on the same team! You were worth everycall. To Amy Moser: I am still impressed by how well you finished. When I called you, you gave me the greatest compliment. To SuzanneVosseller: You remind me of what Arbonne is really about and inspireme. You have done your homeworkand always have the answers we need. Finally, to my family, mom, Colonel and Shelby: I love you all. Mom,thank you for recognizing this opportunity and not only encouragingme, but becoming my first business builder. Shelby, you told me to makeRVP by the time you returned and we have.
