The state-run HCL had been inthe news for varied reasons. Recently, country's second largest aluminiumproducer NALCO was reported to be investing about Rs 700 crore forpicking up stake in two mines of HCL and the disinvestment initiative bythe government for HCL through FPO. Shakeel Ahmed, Chairman &Managing Director, <strong>Hindustan</strong> <strong>Copper</strong> Ltd, in an interview toBalakrishnan Nair spells out the company expansion plans to cater to therising demand for copper the world over.
