TheSydney based young artist is running herown design studio with clients includingOptus, Twitter, Sydney Aquarium, AustralianEducation International, Sony Digital, eBay,and more. She has recently started acompany called Walls 360 together withother business partners. The journey of thisyoung talented artist started from her timeat UNSW Foundation Studies.“I studied at UNSW Foundation Studies inthe Design stream during 2002-2003. WhenI first came to Sydney I was surroundedby an utterly new environment, includingnew classmates from all over the world, theunknown city, and the very different culture. It was a bit daunting for a teenager who hadjust finished Gao San (equivalent to year 12)in China.“I had a fantastic time at the FoundationStudies. The most important things I learntthere were how to develop and maintainrelationships with people, how to adaptmyself into the new environment, and howto get the best out of the experience.“At that time I made friends with myclassmates, students from other streams, tutors, and even all the staff working at theRound House food court. I learnt that onlywhen you open your heart to others, otherpeople will then open up for you.“I still keep in touch with some of thetutors and classmates. For instance oneof my classmates from UK was a 37year old mother of one at that time, whodreamed to become a fashion designer. After so many years, we still keep in touchvia social networks. I knew that she laterbecame successful in fashion design. She also congratulated me on my works. It is indeed a great feeling to have suchsustainable relationships developed fromthe Foundation Studies at UNSW.“I was awarded the Most OutstandingAcademic Performance in Design of 2003,which I had never expected to receive.
