But few of us ever get the opportunityto skate through the infamous Shark Head to the roar of the crowd. If you’ve ever dreamed of lacing up your skatesalongside an NHL athlete, this is your chance. Once a year, the Sharks Foundation hosts “Shark for a Day” FantasyCamp, giving fans the rare opportunity to share the ice with Sharks alumni.From the moment you step into HP Pavilion, you’ll get as close as you can get to being an NHL player withoutworrying about a Brent Burns hip check along the boards. Participants will skate with Sharks alumni in a regulationgame, tour the facilities, be given official team gear and much more!Last year, NHL alumni participants included fan favorites Jeff Odgers, Curtis Brown, Al Iafrate and Ron Stern. This tournament—the largest fundraiser of the year for the Sharks Foundation—is the only event of its kind tofeature Sharks players, as well as coaching staff, alumni, broadcasters and other local celebrities. This unforgettableevent maintains a fun, lighthearted atmosphere as guests meet their favorite Sharks players, enjoy food and beveragesand compete in on-course contests. The evening concludes with an exciting silent and live auction, and a presentationof awards for the top teams and individuals.SILENT AUCTION SERIESFans are given the opportunity to bid on memorabilia and help a worthy cause when they participate in the SharksFoundation’s “Charity Auction” held at every home game.
