Expert Tips – How Professionals Scrape 

� Check if glass is scratch-resistant and suitable for scraper use. Unsuitable glass 

surfaces include: plexiglass, crown glass, solar glass and safety glass (ESG). 

� Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions. 

� Perform a scrape test in advance on a small section. 

� Before starting, check the glass for any damage and report it, if necessary. 

� Check the blade for damage and change it or reverse it. 

� The surface to be scraped should always be wet. 

� It is best to use a releasing agent, such as “EasyGlideGlassCleaner.” 

� Scrape in one direction. Never pull the scraper back as this 

may cause scratches.

Preparation: 

�� 

� Cover all sensitive cooking equipment like fryers, ranges 

and griddles before applying liquid cleaner overhead. 

�� 

� Fill SprayerOnABelt with cleaning solution. 

� Fill the 6-gallon ProBucket with clean water for rinsing 

(normal soil levels). Add cleaning solution for heavy cleaning. 

� Attach SwivelCornerBrush to either a 4 ft. or 8 ft. 

OptiLocTM Step 3 – Clean Corners/Tight Locations 

telescopic pole. For normal cleaning, spray 

solution directly onto bristles and scrub corners, cracks 

and crevices. For heavy cleaning, dip brush into bucket 

of solution prior to scrubbing. 

� Hood filters can be scrubbed in place for light cleaning. 

It is recommended to remove and clean thoroughly for 

heavier grease and soot buildup. 

Cleaning: 

�� 

� Slide Micro StripWasher ® sleeve over Swivel Strip T-Bar, 

then attach to telescopic pole. 

� Spay cleaning solution onto sleeve with 

the SprayerOnABelt. 

� Clean stainless surfaces, outside and underneath with the 

Micro StripWasher/Swivel Strip T-Bar. 

� Repeat use of SprayerOnABelt to dampen sleeve. 

�� 

� Refill 6-gallon ProBucket with clean water and attach 

Bucket Sieve. 

� After loosening soil, dip Micro StripWasher/Swivel Strip 

T-Bar into clean water, press excess water out using 

Bucket Sieve and flush stainless surfaces. 

� Remove cleaning solution from hood surfaces using 

MicroWipeTM �� 

500 MicroFiber Cloth and Klett StripWasher. 

� Dry and polish surfaces. 

� Change cloth if wet.
