In 2002, he assisted with the defensive line and outside linebackersas the Huskies ranked third in Division II in rush defense whileposting a 9-2 record. In 2003, Stamn helped St. Cloud to a 7-4 recordwhile coaching the linebackers.Stamn also served as a student assistant coach while earninghis undergradu<strong>at</strong>e degree in Physical Educ<strong>at</strong>ion <strong>at</strong> Minnesota St<strong>at</strong>e-Mank<strong>at</strong>o. He served as an offensive line assistant coach in 2000,while assisting with the defensive backs in 2001.JUANTAYLORWIDE RECEIVERSSECOND YEAR AT BUFFALOKENTUCKY STATE, ’93Juan Taylor begins his second season as wide receiver’s coach <strong>at</strong><strong>Buffalo</strong>.Taylor came to <strong>Buffalo</strong> from Kentucky St<strong>at</strong>e <strong>University</strong> where heserved as tight ends and offensive tackles coach for the 2004 seasonand as the running backs coach during the 2003 season. He alsoserved as the wide receivers coach <strong>at</strong> Kentucky St<strong>at</strong>e from 1995-99,while also serving as the school’s Residence Life Director. Betweenhis stints <strong>at</strong> Kentucky St<strong>at</strong>e, Taylor oper<strong>at</strong>ed his own business for fiveyears.While <strong>at</strong> Kentucky St<strong>at</strong>e, Taylor coached four first-team All-Conferenceselections, six second-team choices, and helped the Thorobredswin the Pioneer Bowl in 1997.Taylor was an outstanding wide receiver <strong>at</strong> Division II KentuckySt<strong>at</strong>e, earning First Team Black College All-American and team MVPhonors in 1992. He led his team in yards receiving, total receptionsand scoring from 1990-92. He would l<strong>at</strong>er play and serve as a coachon the Milwaukee Mustangs of the Arena <strong>Football</strong> League under former<strong>Buffalo</strong> Bills coach Lou Saban.A n<strong>at</strong>ive of Canton, OH - and no stranger to recruiting in Mid-American Conference territories - Taylor was inducted into the Canton-McKinleySenior High School Athletic Hall of Fame this past summer.He and his wife Betsie live with their chocol<strong>at</strong>e Labrador namedTaylor.MATTHOUSEDEFENSIVE BACKSSECOND YEAR AT BUFFALOMICHIGAN STATE, ’00COACHING STAFFreturned to Division I-A in 1999.Prior to coming to <strong>Buffalo</strong>, House spent the 2005 season as thedefensive line coach <strong>at</strong> Gardner-Webb <strong>University</strong>. At Gardner-Webb,House was responsible for implementing a 4-3 defensive front whilecoaching the linemen. House coached two All-Big South players duringhis one season with the Bulldogs.Prior to th<strong>at</strong>, House served as a defensive gradu<strong>at</strong>e assistant <strong>at</strong>North Carolina and his alma m<strong>at</strong>er, Michigan St<strong>at</strong>e.With the Tar Heels, House coached the defensive backs duringindividual periods and meetings prior to practice, as well as assistingin the defensive game and practice planning for weekly opponents.At Michigan St<strong>at</strong>e, House served as both a defensive gradu<strong>at</strong>eassistant and a special teams/defensive administr<strong>at</strong>ive assistant.House worked with both defensive backs and linebackers, whilehelping prepare game plans for each week.In his previous coaching duties, House has actively recruited inFlorida, Ohio, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, New York and North Carolina.He and his wife Jessi have a son, Jackson (2).TOBYWILLIAMSDEFENSIVE TACKLESSECOND YEAR AT BUFFALONEBRASKA, ’83Toby Williams begins his second season <strong>at</strong> <strong>Buffalo</strong>. He coachesthe defensive tackles.Toby Williams is the brother of <strong>Buffalo</strong> defensive coordin<strong>at</strong>orJimmy Williams, and both played with Gill <strong>at</strong> Nebraska. Like hisbrother, Toby starred for the Cornhuskers and went to have a highlysuccessful career in the N<strong>at</strong>ional <strong>Football</strong> League, playing with theNew England P<strong>at</strong>riots from 1983-88 and finishing his career with oneseason in Green Bay with the Packers.Williams was an overachiever throughout his football career,walking on <strong>at</strong> Nebraska before earning All-Big Eight honors andspending six seasons with the P<strong>at</strong>riots after being chosen in the 10thround. He would play 80 games with the P<strong>at</strong>riots, registering 15 careersacks as a defensive tackle and nose guard.He began his coaching career as an assistant coach <strong>at</strong> MillisHigh School in Massachusetts in 1995, serving as an assistant coachbefore moving into the head coaching position. He would l<strong>at</strong>er moveon to collegi<strong>at</strong>e coaching <strong>at</strong> Bridgew<strong>at</strong>er St<strong>at</strong>e (2000-01) and DeanCollege (2001-02), coaching defensive line <strong>at</strong> both schools.He returned to the high school ranks in 2002, spending twoyears <strong>at</strong> Bishop Feehan outside Boston, his team winning Divisiontitles both seasons while coaching the offensive and defensive lines.He has spent the past two seasons <strong>at</strong> Saint Raphael Academy as offensiveand defensive line coach.He and his wife, Chris, have two daughters, Candace (19) andCourtney (18).M<strong>at</strong>t House returns for his second season as defensive backscoach. In his first season, cornerback Kendric Hawkins was named toThe Sporting News Freshman All-America Team and safety Mike Newtonhad five interceptions - the second-highest total since the Bulls2007 SPRING PROSPECTUS
