The Johari-Window, Dr. Dorothea von Ritter-Röhr Decisions and processes in enterprises do not only depend on plans and logically comprehensible concepts, but completely substantially involved in everything what is done, are irrational moments. Enterprises are considered as rationally led and steered organizations. Rational plans and goals are also necessary, but they are not sufficient, in order to understand procedures and processes. Each enterprise is coined/shaped completely substantially by emotional and irrational behaviours of the co-workers. If in former times one expected from the manager the fact that he was only as competition-oriented as possible, who “had dollar characters in the eye” and could not be confused by feelings, comes now again interpersonal communication into the centre of the interest. In order to optimize social authority, a seminar in group dynamics offers itself. In such a group dynamic seminar learning chances are ordered, in order to learn something over oneself and over group processes and group phenomena. As heuristic model, in order to speculate upon interpersonal relations, Joseph Luft and Harry Ingham already conceived the so-called Johari Window in 1955 in the USA, which is still used this very day because of his simplicity and evidence. In the meantime there is abundance from secondary literature to it, which is to be reread with Hase and other one. Also the internet offers the most different presentations to the Johari Window. This simple, graphic model, which represents the changes of self perception and foreign perception in a group-process, is a square, which is divided into four parts A, B, C and D. The basis marks the self picture, thus the aspects of the own person, which are known /unknown by oneself. The personality characteristics are symbolized by the plump line of the square, which admits of the public, for example the group members, are/are unknown, thus the foreign picture. The individual window wings mark completely determined aspects of our person, which are known /unknown by us and others.
