Pleasesee our website or contact the school ifyou are unsure of how to make anappointment online.In addition to Parents’ Evenings, youwill receive a minimum of one interimprogress report and one written report eachacademic year.Each month the ‘Brune Park Life’ newsletterprovides an insight into the wide range ofopportunities, events and activities goingon at Brune Park.Mentors will also use student planners tocommunicate with parents and there is anarea set aside for this every week.Brune Park’s website contains importantinformation and up to date details.You can also keep track of homeworkset for your child through the “Show myHomework” system – see our website forfurther details.Web ContactContact through our website is a newfeature this year. On our home page thereare four House icons (see above), yourson/ daughter will be able to contacttheir House Leader and leave a messagedirectly. The House Leader will then dealwith the issue as required.Your child’s attendance data andinformation on behaviour and progresscan be accessed through “My Child” on thewebsite. Brune Park Community School - Welcome GuideFootlightsEating at SchoolStudents are welcome to bring their ownpacked lunch to school. We do have a caféwhich is open before school, during the twobreaks, and after school. A range of preparedfood and drinks is available for purchase.‘Meal Deals’ consist of main meal (mealof the day, vegetarian option available,hot pasta, topped jacket, pasta salad, or aboxed salad) plus hot dessert with custard,cold dessert or yoghurt. We also have a widerange of sandwiches, rolls, pitta breads andwraps from £1.15.Free MealsWe operate a Meal Pass system at BrunePark which reduces the queuing time andspeeds up service. Students are issued apass which has a barcode. They hand theirpass over as payment when collecting theirmeal at first or second break.The card is worth £2 this includes a mainmeal and dessert.
