174 Access clientsThe Provisioning Client enables service providers to perform the followingadministrative and provisioning tasks:• define administration roles and privileges• manage (list, add, modify, or delete) users and devices• define multiple service sets• create and assign service profiles and service sets• assign translation information specific to a domain or subdomain• provision voice mail servers• provision 911 emergency notificationProvisioning options available through the Provisioning Client depend onthe level of authority (rights) assigned to the administrator's account.After a new installation, a single super user role is created with anassociated administrator account. This account has total control andaccess to all provisioning rights, and this relationship cannot be changed ordeleted. The initial password is “admin” which must be changed duringinitial log on. If the Pre-login banner page appears, click the check box toacknowledge that you have read an understood the message, and thenclick Confirm. Enter your user name and password and click Login.After you have logged on successfully, the Provisioning Client windowappears. Remember that the maximum number of logins for eachadministrator is configured through the System Manager.AttentionNavigating functions provided by browsers (such as back buttons) are notsupported for navigation in the Provisioning Client. All navigation should be doneby the functionalities supported by the Provisioning Client.
