Affordable, ethical,volunteer-led and communityoriented,this is a social enterprisewith as much a heart as head forbusiness. We are open every Tuesday10.30-16.00 and Thursday 3 till late.We are based in the basement ofLiverpool Guild of Students, 160Mount Pleasant, L3 5TR.We sell second-hand and vintagebikes and accessories, and we acceptand collect donations of bicycles andbicycle parts. We deliver a bespoke trainingprogramme for people who want tobecome more self sufficient in bikerepair, and we have been working inpartnership with local health servicesto encourage active lifestyles throughessential maintenance courses andcycle confidence classes. For detailsof courses coming up, simply email usfor more information.We actively support sympatheticprojects in the city including CriticalMass, The Well and TransitionLiverpool. Also look out for ourmonthly free Bike Doctor at MelloMello on the first Saturday of themonth at 1pm.Re-Cycles is wholly not-for-profitand seeks to provide affordablebicycles and bicycle-focused activitiesin the Liverpool area. Cycling is asustainable transport solution forstudents and other low incomegroups in Liverpool. The every-other-Tuesday clubVolunteer activity isreally on a roll on theLiverpool Loop Line.Since November 2010Sustrans have beeninviting volunteers tojoin us every otherTuesday at differentlocations along theLiverpool Loop Line togive short stretches ofthe path a thoroughcleanse and spruceup.Many hardy soulshave stuck with us throughout the winter months, and now that the weatherhas perked up and the path is springing back to life, we’d like even more ofyou to join in. Anyone can volunteer - you don’t need any particular skills,just an enthusiasm for working outdoors and making a difference to thelocal environment.
