Sequence of tRNA movement in the ribosomes

At the A site an aminoacyl-tRNA enters to base pair with thecodon.The P site is occupied by peptidyl-tRNA, the tRNA carrying thenascent polypeptide chain.Deacylated tRNA has no amino acid or polypeptide chainattached.Translocation is the movement of the ribosome one codonalong mRNA after the addition of each amino acid to thepolypeptide chain.Elongation is the stage in protein synthesis reaction when thepolypeptide chain is extended by the addition of individualsubunits.During Termination protein synthesis is stopped by additionalsubunits causing disassembly of the synthetic apparatus.
