The Vision ofthe Chicago Kroc Center is to touch individuals, families and seniors of the Southside with: Community –Wellness – Excellence – Character – FaithOUTCOMESAquatics Center Director will give oversight for the development of programming and daily operations of theAquatic areas.SPECIFIC DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:1. As a member of the RJKCCC Management Team will give direction to the day-to-day operations ofthe aquatics programs and facilities.a. Develop programming and monitor all programs relevant to the aquatic areas.b. Recognize the spiritual need of individuals, which may require referral to the officer/pastorwho is an ordained minister of religion.c. Create and maintain an office support system that will allow for timely and accurate recordkeeping, including the areas of statistical reports, record of volunteer activity, accounting ofexpenditures and other reporting as required. This information must be turned into the KrocOffice by the 5 th of each month.d. Assist with the annual budget preparation of the aquatic program and facilities of theRJKCCC. Give input as needed and be available to give short answers about expendituresand other fiscal related matters concerning the aquatic program and facilities.e. Develop usage (rental) agreements and standardized usage fees, based on fair markedvalues, for outside groups and private instructors who wish to rent the aquatic facilities. Seethat these are processed according to Salvation Army procedures.f. Follow and ensure adherence to The Salvation Army Policies and Procedures.g. Maintain the Code of Ethics policy, which has been established for the Kroc Center.h. Work with marketing staff to promote program materials that attract new members andrevenue. This includes opportunities for fund raisers in each program or sponsorships sothat each program can be self sufficient within the Kroc formula of financing.2. Community Liaisona. Develop cooperative ventures that engage other community groups in the development ofprograms related specifically to the aquatic facilities of the RJKCCC.3. Leadership to Staffa. Ensure all areas have competent and trained employees, committed to the mission ofRJKCCC and The Salvation Army.b. Give supervision to aquatic support staff, including instructors, coaches, life guards andclerical staff.i. Working in cooperation with the HR Director, will process all hire, change, andtermination personnel cases promptly.
