Centuries of collective know-how
EuroMaint Industry is a company with vast experience.
The foundations of our business date back to the 19th century,
under the name Sköfde Gjuteri och Mekaniska Verkstad.
In the 1930s the operation became part of the Volvo Group.
The many years spent as part of Volvo built up a vast bank
of expertise in servicing, production and maintenance, and
this expertise benefits our customers today. In 2000 we
became an independent company which was later acquired by
the Swedish-owned corporation EuroMaint. Today EuroMaint
Industry is a subsidiary within the EuroMaint Group.

The price of inadequate maintenance
The most common symptoms of inadequate maintenance are
a lack of capacity, a struggle against low profi tability, shortcomings
in delivery reliability and poor quality results. One

value-enhancing time. Overall Equipment Effi ciency, OEE, is

repairs to machinery components. As an independent service
organisation, EuroMaint Industry has amassed a great deal
of experience of repairing many diff erent types and makes of
machinery components over the years.
A higher level of service
An increased demand for component servicing has led to
several investments to safeguard our customers’ needs.
Delivery precision to our customers is our top priority.
Investments in new test equipment, larger material stores and
databases for status checks are some of the other initiatives
we have taken. From its branch in Åmål EuroMaint Industry
off ers tension tests and vibration measurements in the fi eld
to all customers with extremely large machines.
Longer service life
When you can no longer buy spare parts for your machines,
you may be forced to replace entire systems so as not to
cause costly loss of production. Instead of investing in a new
control system, for instance, EuroMaint Industry can repair
and service the existing one. This is to enable you to plan your

AGV – vital assistance
In the fi eld of Automation we produce Automated Guided
Vehicles which are an eff ective, ergonomic aid in assembly
applications, for example. Compared to similar systems
EuroMaint Industry’s AGVs are more fl exible, independent
and have a built-in quality assurance system.
International ambitions
We can also off er our customers a new measurement and
analysis method called In Process Verifi cation, IPV. The
system is a series of measurement stations that can detect
shortcomings in quality during the production process,
thereby dramatically reducing costs. The solution has also
enabled EuroMaint Industry to move into the international
market with a new subsidiary in Detroit.

Customer: CC Pack
Assignment: Development work in Maintenance
CC Pack in Tibro is a European leader in cardboard packaging for the food
industry. The brief was to help the customer increase production figures.
An OEE assessment of the current situation was carried out, followed by
control and documentation, and finally results measurement.
Customer: Stora Enso
Assignment: Total service concept for component servicing
Stora Enso makes paper. The general agreement entails total responsibility
for repairs of all Stora Enso’s electronics components throughout Europe.
EuroMaint Industry’s point of departure is to develop effective stock
management solutions in close dialogue with Stora Enso.
Customer: GETRAG All Wheel Drive
Assignment: Specially adapted fixtures
GETRAG All Wheel Drive in Köping machines covers and casings for car
gearboxes, as well as AWD systems for four-wheel drive and car chassis
components. The assignment was to urgently produce fixtures for existing
machines to increase the production rate, enabling the customer to meet
increased production demands.
Customer: Arla Foods
Assignment: Procurement of packing lines
Arla Foods in Götene is a processor of cheese, among other things. The
brief was to automate the packing of hard cheese to improve the work
environment, streamline the process and increase capacity. EuroMaint
Industry was responsible for project management and procurement, as
well as staff training.
Customer: Husqvarna
Assignment: General agreement for spindle servicing
Husqvarna offers a comprehensive range of equipment for forests,
parks and gardens. The company has a general agreement with EuroMaint
Industry encompassing servicing and repairs of machine spindles at all
Husqvarna factories in Sweden.
Customer: DIAB
Assignment: Automation of new production lines
DIAB produces core materials for lightweight constructions, also known as
sandwich technology. The brief was to develop a new concept and modify block
production, to ensure a more flexible and accessible solution and lay the foundation
for a threefold increase in production. As a partner, EuroMaint Industry
was responsible for technical design, production, installation and training.
