ADULT LITERACY “Each One Teach One”
This Program is available for all adults…18 or older. The program covers
basic and critical reading skills, reading comprehension, basic grammar,
and writing skills with one-to-one tutoring available for adult learners.
ELLIS, ISSUES IN ENGLISH, & CONNECTED SPEECH are new software
programs for English as a Second Language learners. These are available
by appointment. Call Joan-Marie Mueller at (561) 367-7020 for appointments
and information.

REFERENCE & INFORMATION SERVICES
Everyone should take advantage of the Boca Raton Public Library’s many
online resources. To access these resources, go to the Library’s Website
(www.bocalibrary.org) and select “Online Library Resources” from the
menu. These online resources contain current and reliable information on
a variety of topics including health, investments, science, literature, history,
biography, and current events.
Most of these online resources are available not only on the Library’s computers,
but also remotely from your home, school, or office computer, if
you have a current Boca Raton Public Library card. For more information,

CHECK IT OUT!
The library now offers VIDEO GAMES for
rent! For $5 for 2 weeks you can take home
games for your Wii, Playstations 2 & 3, and
Xbox 360 consoles.
PLAYAWAYS are also now
available! As the first
self-playing audio book,
Playaways bring pages to life at the push of a
button. Weighing only two ounces, Playaways
are small enough to go anywhere you do!

Series, the Music Series, the Spanish River Library Art Gallery,
and two Book Clubs. We sponsor programs for children, tweens
