The Awards<strong>NHBC</strong> <strong>in</strong>spectors have been visit<strong>in</strong>g and assess<strong>in</strong>g sites throughout<strong>the</strong> UK s<strong>in</strong>ce July last year, and only those site managers who achieve<strong>the</strong> highest standards will be considered for a <strong>Pride</strong> <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Job</strong> Award.Site managers are placed <strong>in</strong>to one of four builder categories:Small builder categoryA sole trader with responsibility for site management or a site manager employed by a company,which may be part of a group of companies, hav<strong>in</strong>g annual registrations of 3 to 50 homes.Medium builder categoryA site manager employed by a company, which may be part of a group of companies, hav<strong>in</strong>g annualregistrations of between 51 and 1,000 homes.Large builder categoryA site manager employed by a company, which may be part of a group of companies, hav<strong>in</strong>g annualregistrations of 1,001 homes or more.Multi-storey builder categoryThis category recognises a different set of skills from hous<strong>in</strong>g site management, where it is difficultto compare <strong>the</strong> two.
