�� Clients with COD need effective strategies to cope<br />
with pressures to discontinue their prescribed<br />
psychiatric medication.<br />
�� One such strategy is simply to prepare clients for<br />
external pressure from other people to stop taking<br />
their medications.<br />
�� Rehearsing circumstances in which this type of<br />
pressure is applied, along with anticipating the<br />
possibility, enables clients with COD to react<br />
appropriately.<br />
