General Behavioral Inventory (GBI)<br />

Purpose: To assesses mood disorders in adults. Focuses on depression and and<br />

mania.<br />

<strong>Clinical</strong> utility: Is a multi-method, multi method, time-logged time logged assessment of persistent<br />

negative mood involving self-report self report measures. Used to identify potentially<br />

recurrent or chronic-intermittent chronic intermittent depressives who may not be depressed at<br />

the time of assessment.<br />
