Initial set-up of your ovenSelect<strong>in</strong>g manual operation modeAfter your appliance is connected to your ma<strong>in</strong>s supply for the firsttime (or after a power-cut) the numbers on the timer display will flash.Before you can select a cook<strong>in</strong>g function or set a temperature, youmust set the appliance <strong>in</strong>to “manual operation” mode.o To select manual operation mode, press the program button (12)for three seconds. The oven <strong>in</strong> use symbol (8) will light <strong>in</strong> thedisplay.Sett<strong>in</strong>g the time of dayAfter your appliance is connected to your ma<strong>in</strong>s supply for the firsttime, you must set the time of day before you can use the oven.o Make sure the oven is <strong>in</strong> manual operation mode (as outl<strong>in</strong>edabove).o Press the program button (12) once to set the time of day. Whilstthe decimal po<strong>in</strong>t symbol (9) is flash<strong>in</strong>g, use the plus (11) andm<strong>in</strong>us (13) buttons to set the correct time of day.o When the correct time of day is shown on the LED display, releasethe plus and m<strong>in</strong>us buttons and wait a few seconds. The decimalpo<strong>in</strong>t symbol (9) will stop flash<strong>in</strong>g and the oven is ready to use.Before first useo To remove any residue from the oven that may have been left fromthe manufactur<strong>in</strong>g process, you should select the fan oven functionand set the thermostat to its maximum temperature sett<strong>in</strong>g.o It is perfectly normal for a smell to be produced dur<strong>in</strong>g this process.o You should make sure that any w<strong>in</strong>dows <strong>in</strong> the room are left opendur<strong>in</strong>g this process.o It is advisable for you not to rema<strong>in</strong> <strong>in</strong> the room whilst the burn<strong>in</strong>goff process is tak<strong>in</strong>g place.o You should leave the oven on maximum sett<strong>in</strong>g for 30 – 40m<strong>in</strong>utes.o After the oven cavity has cooled, it should then be cleaned withwarm soapy water, us<strong>in</strong>g either a sponge or soft cloth. No abrasivecleaners should be used.11


o Outer parts of the oven should be cleaned with warm soapy water,us<strong>in</strong>g either a sponge or soft cloth. No abrasive cleaners should beused.o We would recommend that an appropriate sta<strong>in</strong>less steel cleanerand polish is regularly used on the sta<strong>in</strong>less steel surfaces of thisappliance.Timer functionsThe m<strong>in</strong>ute m<strong>in</strong>der functionThe m<strong>in</strong>ute m<strong>in</strong>der function is a countdown time that can be set on theoven programmer/timer. When the countdown time has f<strong>in</strong>ished, anaudible signal will sound.o Press the programme button (12) twice. The decimal po<strong>in</strong>t (9)starts to flash and the m<strong>in</strong>ute m<strong>in</strong>der symbol (10) will light on thedisplay and will show “00:00”.o Use the plus (11) and m<strong>in</strong>us (13) buttons to set the countdowntime that you require.o The maximum countdown time that can be set is 23 hours and 59m<strong>in</strong>utes.o When the correct countdown time appears on the LED display,release the plus and m<strong>in</strong>us buttons and the countdown will startimmediately.o The m<strong>in</strong>ute m<strong>in</strong>der symbol (10) will rema<strong>in</strong> <strong>in</strong> the LED display toshow that a countdown time is <strong>in</strong> progress.o After a few seconds the LED display will return to show<strong>in</strong>g the timeof day.o At the end of the countdown time, an audible signal will sound andthe oven <strong>in</strong> use symbol will go out. The audible signal will sound for7 m<strong>in</strong>utes before switch<strong>in</strong>g off or you can silence it by press<strong>in</strong>g anyof the oven timer buttons.IMPORTANT: If the oven is <strong>in</strong> use whilst us<strong>in</strong>g the m<strong>in</strong>utem<strong>in</strong>der function, the oven WILL NOT switch off at the end ofthe countdown time. YOU MUST turn the oven function selectorknob and the thermostat control knob to their OFF positions.12


The semi-automatic cook<strong>in</strong>g functionThis function will allow you to set a countdown time similar to them<strong>in</strong>ute m<strong>in</strong>der function, however the oven will switch off at the end ofthe cook<strong>in</strong>g time.o Place the food that you want to cook <strong>in</strong>side of the oven and closethe door.o Select an oven function and cook<strong>in</strong>g temperature us<strong>in</strong>g the relevantcontrol knobs.o Press the programme button (12) three times. The decimal po<strong>in</strong>t,the oven <strong>in</strong> use symbol (8) and the Automatic cook<strong>in</strong>g symbol (7)will flash on the LED display. The display will show “00:00”.o Use the plus (11) and m<strong>in</strong>us (13) buttons to set the cook<strong>in</strong>g timethat you require.o The maximum countdown time that can be set is 10 hours.o When the correct countdown time appears on the LED display,release the plus and m<strong>in</strong>us buttons. Cook<strong>in</strong>g will beg<strong>in</strong> immediately,after a few seconds the countdown time will start.o At the end of the cook<strong>in</strong>g time the oven will turn off and an audiblesignal will sound. The end of cook<strong>in</strong>g functionThis function is similar to the semi-automatic function, however<strong>in</strong>stead of sett<strong>in</strong>g a countdown time, you select the time of day thatyou want the oven to switch off at.o Place the food that you want to cook <strong>in</strong>side of the oven and closethe door.o Select an oven function and cook<strong>in</strong>g temperature us<strong>in</strong>g the relevantcontrol knobs.o Press the programme button (12) four times. The decimal po<strong>in</strong>tstarts to flash, and the oven <strong>in</strong> use symbol (8) and the Automaticcook<strong>in</strong>g symbol (7) will light on the LED display.o The display will show the current time of day which will flash. The automatic cook<strong>in</strong>g functionThis function will allow you to set the time of day that you want theoven to switch off at and how long you want the oven to cook for.o Place the food that you want to cook <strong>in</strong>side of the oven and closethe door.o Select an oven function and cook<strong>in</strong>g temperature us<strong>in</strong>g the relevantcontrol knobs.o Press the programme button (12) three times. The decimal po<strong>in</strong>tstarts to flash, and the oven <strong>in</strong> use symbol (8) and the automaticcook<strong>in</strong>g symbol (7) will light on the LED display.o Use the plus (11) and m<strong>in</strong>us (13) buttons to set the cook<strong>in</strong>g timethat you require.o The maximum cook<strong>in</strong>g duration time that can be set is 10 hours.o IMMEDIATELY press the programme button.o The display will then show the current time of day which will flash.Use the plus (11) and m<strong>in</strong>us (13) buttons to set the cook<strong>in</strong>g endtime that you require.o The maximum end time that can be set is 10 hours <strong>in</strong>to the future.o When the correct end time appears on the LED display, release theplus and m<strong>in</strong>us buttons.o Cook<strong>in</strong>g will beg<strong>in</strong> at the calculated preset time.o At the end of the cook<strong>in</strong>g time the oven will turn off and an audiblesignal will sound. The automatic cook<strong>in</strong>g symbol (7) and the M<strong>in</strong>uteM<strong>in</strong>der symbol (10) will flash on the LED display.o To reset the oven and cancel the audible alarm, press any buttononce to stop the alarm. Then press and hold the programme buttontwice for 3 seconds. Cancell<strong>in</strong>g a timer functiono To cancel the m<strong>in</strong>ute m<strong>in</strong>der function press the programme button(12) once to select the m<strong>in</strong>ute m<strong>in</strong>der function and then reduce thetime to “00:00” .o To cancel the semi-automatic timer press the programme button(12) three times to select the semi-automatic timer then andreduce the time to “00:00”.o To cancel the end of cook<strong>in</strong>g timer press the programme button(12) four times to select the end of cook<strong>in</strong>g timer and then reducethe time to the current time of day.o To cancel the automatic timer press the programme button (12)three times and reduce the (duration) time to “00:00” and thenpress the program button aga<strong>in</strong> and reduce the (end) time to thecurrent time of day.o IMPORTANT: If you do not turn the oven function selector knoband thermostat control knob to their OFF positions, when you resetthe timer function, it will cont<strong>in</strong>ue to heat.Adjust<strong>in</strong>g the audible signalThe audible signal has 3 tones. To adjust the signal you shouldproceed as follows:-o IMPORTANT: The oven timer must not be <strong>in</strong> any form ofcountdown mode and the oven <strong>in</strong> use symbol (8) must be lit.o Press and hold down the m<strong>in</strong>us (13) and plus (11) buttonssimultaneously for 2 seconds and you will hear an audible signal.This is the audible signal which is currently set.o Press and hold down the m<strong>in</strong>us (13) and plus (11) buttonssimultaneously aga<strong>in</strong> for 2 seconds to hear the next audible signalwhich will be set. This process can be repeated.o When you hear the audible signal that you wish to use, release allbuttons and wait for the display to go back to show<strong>in</strong>g the time ofday. The audible signal has now been set.Chang<strong>in</strong>g the time of dayo IMPORTANT: The oven timer/programmer must not be <strong>in</strong> anyform of countdown mode and the oven <strong>in</strong> use symbol (8) must belit.o Please follow the guidel<strong>in</strong>es on “sett<strong>in</strong>g the time of day”.16


Select<strong>in</strong>g a cook<strong>in</strong>g function and temperatureSelect<strong>in</strong>g manual operation modeAfter your appliance is connected to your ma<strong>in</strong>s supply for thefirst time, the numbers on the timer display will flash. Beforeyou can select a cook<strong>in</strong>g function or set a temperature, youmust set the appliance <strong>in</strong>to “manual operation” mode.o To select manual operation mode, press the programme button(12) on the control panel.Select<strong>in</strong>g an oven functiono The oven function selector knob should be used to select theparticular mode of cook<strong>in</strong>g that you require. The appliance willutilise different elements with<strong>in</strong> the oven cavity, depend<strong>in</strong>g onthe oven function that you select. When a function is selected,the power <strong>in</strong>dicator light will come on.<strong>Oven</strong> functionsFAN AND GRILL: This method of cook<strong>in</strong>g utilises the top element<strong>in</strong> conjunction with the fan, which helps to provide a quickcirculation of heat. This function is suitable where quick brown<strong>in</strong>g isrequired and “seal<strong>in</strong>g” the juices <strong>in</strong>, such as steaks, hamburgers,some vegetables etc.GRILL MODE: This method of cook<strong>in</strong>g utilises the <strong>in</strong>ner sections ofthe top element, which directs heat downwards onto the food. Thisfunction is suitable for grill<strong>in</strong>g portions of bacon, toast and meatetc.17


FAN AND LOWER ELEMENT: This method of cook<strong>in</strong>g utilises thebottom element <strong>in</strong> conjunction with the fan, which helps to circulatethe heat. This function is suitable for steriliz<strong>in</strong>g and preserv<strong>in</strong>g jars.FAN OVEN: This method of cook<strong>in</strong>g uses the circular element whilethe heat is distributed by the fan. This results <strong>in</strong> a faster and moreeconomical cook<strong>in</strong>g process. The fan oven allows food to be cookedsimultaneously on different shelves, prevent<strong>in</strong>g the transmission ofsmells and tastes from one dish on to another.DEFROST MODE: The fan runs without heat to reduce thedefrost<strong>in</strong>g time of frozen foods. The time required to defrost thefood will depend on the room temperature, the quantity and type offood. Always check food packag<strong>in</strong>g for the defrost<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong>structions.CONVENTIONAL OVEN (top and lower element): This methodof cook<strong>in</strong>g provides traditional cook<strong>in</strong>g, with heat from the top andlower elements. This function is suitable for roast<strong>in</strong>g and bak<strong>in</strong>g onone shelf only.FULL GRILL: This method of cook<strong>in</strong>g utilises the <strong>in</strong>ner and outerparts of the top element, which directs heat downwards onto thefood. This function is suitable for grill<strong>in</strong>g medium or large portionsof sausages, bacon, steaks, fish etc.Thermostat control knob25050The oven thermostat control knob sets therequired temperature of the oven. <strong>Oven</strong> operat<strong>in</strong>g light25020015010050This light will come on to <strong>in</strong>dicate thatthe oven’s heat<strong>in</strong>g elements are <strong>in</strong>operation. The light will turn off when thetemperature set on the thermostatcontrol knob has been reached. It willcycle on and off throughout the cook<strong>in</strong>gtime.You should not place food <strong>in</strong>side the cavity, until the correctcook<strong>in</strong>g temperature has been reached.Cook<strong>in</strong>g guidel<strong>in</strong>eso Please refer to the <strong>in</strong>formation given on food packag<strong>in</strong>g forguidance on cook<strong>in</strong>g temperatures and times. Once familiar withthe performance of your appliance, temperatures and times canbe varied to suit personal preference.o If you are us<strong>in</strong>g the fan oven function, then you should followthe <strong>in</strong>formation given on the food packag<strong>in</strong>g for this particularmode of cook<strong>in</strong>g.o You should pre-heat the oven and not place food <strong>in</strong>side of it untilthe oven operat<strong>in</strong>g light has gone off. You can choose not to preheatwhen us<strong>in</strong>g the fan oven mode; however you should extendthe cook<strong>in</strong>g time given on the food packag<strong>in</strong>g by at least tenm<strong>in</strong>utes.o IMPORTANT: You should pre-heat the oven if you are bak<strong>in</strong>g nomatter what oven function you are us<strong>in</strong>g.o If there is no guidance given on the food packag<strong>in</strong>g specificallyfor cook<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> fan oven mode, you can generally reduce thecook<strong>in</strong>g time and temperature by 10% from the <strong>in</strong>formationgiven for conventional oven cook<strong>in</strong>g.o Make sure that frozen foods are thoroughly thawed beforecook<strong>in</strong>g, unless the <strong>in</strong>structions on the food packag<strong>in</strong>g advisethat you can “cook from frozen”.o Before cook<strong>in</strong>g, check that any accessories that are not requiredare removed from the oven.19


o Place cook<strong>in</strong>g trays <strong>in</strong> the centre of the oven and leave gapsbetween the trays to allow air to circulate.o Try to open the door as little as possible to view the dishes.o The oven light will rema<strong>in</strong> on dur<strong>in</strong>g cook<strong>in</strong>g.Warn<strong>in</strong>gso Keep the oven door closed when us<strong>in</strong>g any of the cook<strong>in</strong>gfunctions, <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g the grill functions.o Do not use alum<strong>in</strong>ium foil to cover the enamelled bak<strong>in</strong>g tray orheat items wrapped <strong>in</strong> alum<strong>in</strong>ium foil under the grill. The highreflectivity of the foil could potentially damage the grill element.o You should also never l<strong>in</strong>e the base of your oven with alum<strong>in</strong>iumfoil.o Dur<strong>in</strong>g cook<strong>in</strong>g, never place pans or cookware directly onto thebottom of your oven. They should always be placed on theshelves provided.o The grill heat<strong>in</strong>g element and other <strong>in</strong>ternal components of theoven become extremely hot dur<strong>in</strong>g operation, avoid touch<strong>in</strong>gthem <strong>in</strong>advertently when handl<strong>in</strong>g the food which you aregrill<strong>in</strong>g.o Important: Be careful when open<strong>in</strong>g the door, to avoid contactwith hot parts of the oven and steam.o When remov<strong>in</strong>g the bak<strong>in</strong>g tray, you should ALWAYS use anoven glove.o Warn<strong>in</strong>g: Accessible parts may become hot dur<strong>in</strong>g use. Youngchildren should be kept well away from the oven when it is <strong>in</strong>use.20


Shelf levelso Safety shelf (A)o Removable sideracks, which allowyou to cook on sixdifferent levels (B)o Enamelledtray (C)bak<strong>in</strong>go The numbers 1 – 6, <strong>in</strong>dicate the different shelf positions that youcan utilise with<strong>in</strong> the oven.Clean<strong>in</strong>g and ma<strong>in</strong>tenanceClean<strong>in</strong>g operations must only be carried outwhen the oven is cool.The appliance should be disconnected from yourma<strong>in</strong>s supply before commenc<strong>in</strong>g any clean<strong>in</strong>gprocess.o The oven should be thoroughly cleaned before it is operated forthe first time and after each use. This will avoid residual foodstuffs becom<strong>in</strong>g baked on the oven cavity. After residues havebeen baked on several times, they are far more difficult toremove.o Never clean the oven surfaces by steam clean<strong>in</strong>g.o The oven cavity should only be cleaned with warm soapy water,us<strong>in</strong>g either a sponge or soft cloth. No abrasive cleaners shouldbe used.o Any sta<strong>in</strong>s that may appear on the bottom of the oven will haveorig<strong>in</strong>ated from food splashes or spilt food, these splashes occurdur<strong>in</strong>g the cook<strong>in</strong>g process. These could possibly be a result ofthe food be<strong>in</strong>g cooked at an excessively high temperature orbe<strong>in</strong>g placed <strong>in</strong> cookware that is too small.o You should select a cook<strong>in</strong>g temperature that is appropriate forthe food that you are cook<strong>in</strong>g. You should also ensure that thefood is placed <strong>in</strong> an adequately sized dish and that you use theenamelled bak<strong>in</strong>g tray where appropriate.21


o Outer parts of the oven should only be cleaned with warm soapywater, us<strong>in</strong>g either a sponge or soft cloth. No abrasive cleanersshould be used.o We would recommend that an appropriate sta<strong>in</strong>less steel cleanerand polish is regularly used on the sta<strong>in</strong>less steel surfaces of thisappliance.o If you use any form of oven cleaner on your appliance, then youmust check with the manufacturer of the cleaner that it issuitable for use on your appliance.o Any damage that is caused to the appliance by a clean<strong>in</strong>gproduct will not be fixed by <strong>Baumatic</strong> free of charge, evenif the appliance is with<strong>in</strong> the guarantee period.Replac<strong>in</strong>g the oven bulbIMPORTANT: The oven must be disconnected fromyour ma<strong>in</strong>s supply before you attempt to eitherremove or replace the oven bulb.o Remove all oven shelves, the enamelled bak<strong>in</strong>gtray and the side rack that is on the same side asthe oven light.o Remove the light cover by turn<strong>in</strong>g it anticlockwise.o Unscrew the bulb clockwise and remove it fromits holder.o Replace the bulb with a 25 W/300°C, screw type pygmy.o Do not use any other type of bulb.o Place the lamp cover back <strong>in</strong>to position.22


Remov<strong>in</strong>g the oven door for clean<strong>in</strong>gTo facilitate the clean<strong>in</strong>g of the <strong>in</strong>side of the oven and the outer frameof the oven, the door can be removed as follows:-o Open the oven door fully.o The h<strong>in</strong>ges (A) have two movable boltson them (B).o If you raise both of the movable bolts(B), then the h<strong>in</strong>ges (A) are releasedfrom the oven hous<strong>in</strong>g.o You should grip the sides of the door at the centre and then<strong>in</strong>cl<strong>in</strong>e it slightly towards the oven cavity and then pull it gentlyaway from the oven cavity. WARNING- Care should be takenas the <strong>in</strong>ner edges of the door may be sharp.o IMPORTANT: You should make sure that the door is supportedat all times and that you place the door on some paddedmaterial whilst clean<strong>in</strong>g it.o The oven door and door glass should only be cleaned us<strong>in</strong>g adamp cloth and a small amount of detergent. The cloth MUSTNOT have come <strong>in</strong>to contact with any form of clean<strong>in</strong>g productor chemical previously.o To refit the door you should slide the h<strong>in</strong>ges back <strong>in</strong>to their slotsand open the door fully.o IMPORTANT: The movable bolts (B) must be closed back <strong>in</strong>totheir orig<strong>in</strong>al positions before clos<strong>in</strong>g the door.o Take care not to dislodge the h<strong>in</strong>ge lock<strong>in</strong>gsystem when remov<strong>in</strong>g the door, as theh<strong>in</strong>ge mechanism has a strong spr<strong>in</strong>g.o Do not immerse the door <strong>in</strong> water at anytime.23


INSTALLATIONThe <strong>in</strong>stallation must be carried out by a suitablyqualified person, <strong>in</strong> accordance with the currentversion of the follow<strong>in</strong>g.o AS/NZS 3000: 2007 Wir<strong>in</strong>g Regulationso 2010 Electricity Safety RegulationsBefore connect<strong>in</strong>g the appliance, make sure that the supply voltagemarked on the rat<strong>in</strong>g plate corresponds with your ma<strong>in</strong>s supplyvoltage.WARNING: THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED.o This appliance should be wired <strong>in</strong>to a 15 A double pole switchedfused spur outlet, hav<strong>in</strong>g 3 mm contact separation and placed <strong>in</strong>an easily accessible position adjacent to the appliance. The spuroutlet must still be accessible even when your oven is located <strong>in</strong>its hous<strong>in</strong>g.o To connect the oven power cord, loosen and remove the coveron the term<strong>in</strong>al block, <strong>in</strong> order to ga<strong>in</strong> access to the contacts<strong>in</strong>side. Make the connection, secur<strong>in</strong>g the cord <strong>in</strong> place with thecable clamp provided and then immediately close the term<strong>in</strong>alblock cover aga<strong>in</strong>.o If you have to change the oven power cord, the earth<strong>in</strong>g(yellow/green) conductor must always be 10 mm longer than thel<strong>in</strong>e conductors.o Care must be taken to ensure that the temperature of the ma<strong>in</strong>ssupply cable does not exceed 50°C.o If the ma<strong>in</strong>s supply cable is damaged, then it must be replacedby an appropriate replacement which can be obta<strong>in</strong>ed from theSpares Department.24


Install<strong>in</strong>g the oven <strong>in</strong>to the kitchen cab<strong>in</strong>etPosition<strong>in</strong>g the applianceo Ensure that the aperture that you will be fitt<strong>in</strong>g the oven <strong>in</strong>to isof the size given <strong>in</strong> the above diagram.o The oven must be fitted <strong>in</strong>to an oven hous<strong>in</strong>g with the ventilationcut-outs shown <strong>in</strong> the “Ventilation requirements” on the follow<strong>in</strong>gpage.o Ensure that the rear panel of the furniture hous<strong>in</strong>g unit has beenremoved.25

o Ensure that the oven has beensecurely fixed <strong>in</strong>to the hous<strong>in</strong>g unit.The fix<strong>in</strong>g of the oven <strong>in</strong>to thehous<strong>in</strong>g is made by us<strong>in</strong>g fourscrews. These should be screwedthrough the oven cab<strong>in</strong>et and <strong>in</strong>tothe hous<strong>in</strong>g unit.My appliance isn’t work<strong>in</strong>g correctlyo The oven isn’t com<strong>in</strong>g on.* Check that the oven is <strong>in</strong> manual operation mode.* Check that you have selected a cook<strong>in</strong>g function and a cook<strong>in</strong>gtemperature.o There appears to be no power to the oven and grill.* Check that the appliance has been connected to the electricalma<strong>in</strong>s supply correctly.* Check that the ma<strong>in</strong>s fuses are <strong>in</strong> work<strong>in</strong>g order.* Check that the operat<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong>structions for sett<strong>in</strong>g the time of dayand putt<strong>in</strong>g the appliance <strong>in</strong>to manual operation mode have beenfollowed.o The grill function works but the ma<strong>in</strong> oven does not.* Check that you have selected the correct cook<strong>in</strong>g function.o The grill and top oven element is not work<strong>in</strong>g, or cuts outfor long periods of time dur<strong>in</strong>g use.* Allow the oven to cool for approximately 2 hours. Once cool,check whether the appliance is aga<strong>in</strong> work<strong>in</strong>g properly.27


o My food is not cook<strong>in</strong>g properly.* Ensure that you are select<strong>in</strong>g the correct temperature and thecorrect cook<strong>in</strong>g function for the food that you are cook<strong>in</strong>g. Itmay be appropriate to adjust your cook<strong>in</strong>g temperature by plusor m<strong>in</strong>us 10°C, to achieve the best cook<strong>in</strong>g results.o My food is not cook<strong>in</strong>g evenly.* Check that the oven has been <strong>in</strong>stalled correctly and is level.* Check that the correct temperatures and shelf positions arebe<strong>in</strong>g used.o The oven light is not work<strong>in</strong>g.* Refer to pages 23 and follow the “Replac<strong>in</strong>g the oven bulb”section.o I am gett<strong>in</strong>g condensation <strong>in</strong> my oven.* Steam and condensation is a natural by product of cook<strong>in</strong>g anyfood with high water content, such as frozen food, chicken etc.* You may get condensation <strong>in</strong> the oven cavity and form<strong>in</strong>gbetween the oven door glasses. This is not necessarily a signthat the oven is not work<strong>in</strong>g correctly.* Do not leave food <strong>in</strong> the oven to cool after it has been cookedand the oven has been switched off.* Use a covered conta<strong>in</strong>er, where practical, when cook<strong>in</strong>g toreduce the amount of condensation that forms.28


IMPORTANT: If your appliance appears not to beoperat<strong>in</strong>g correctly, then you should disconnect itfrom your ma<strong>in</strong>s supply and then contact theService Department.DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPAIR THE APPLIANCE YOURSELF.Please note that if an eng<strong>in</strong>eer is asked to attend whilst the product isunder guarantee and f<strong>in</strong>ds that the problem is not the result of anappliance fault, then you may be liable for the cost of the call outcharge.The appliance must be accessible for the eng<strong>in</strong>eer to performany necessary repair.
