12Section - II. Centric and Vertical Relation Construction Bites1. In order to obtain a proper centric or verticalrelation bite, you must first modify the Per-Fect Biteby removing the 3 notches. This is easily done with alaboratory acrylic carbide bur.2. Next, mix a small amount of acrylic and place asmall “strip” on the area where you removed the threenotches. Be sure to wet the plastic with liquid monomerfirst, in order for the acrylic to bond to the Per-FectBite.33. While the acrylic is still soft, place the Per-Fect Bitein the mouth WITH THE LARGE SINGLE NOTCH UPso that the upper centrals engage the notch. Have thepatient bite into centric occlusion or centric relation sotheir lower anteriors index into the acrylic strip. Oncethis is done, dip the Per-Fect Bite into a hot water bathin order to fully cure the acrylic.**After this, follow steps 3 and 4 under Section I,Functional and Repositioning Bites.330-024 Entire Construction Bite Kit . . . . . . . .$375.00Includes:Per-Fect Bites, 2mm, pack 12 each . . . . . . . . . . . $15.50Per-Fect Bites, 4mm, pack 12 each . . . . . . . . . . .$15.50Hot Water Bath . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $378.00Base Plate Wax . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $6.50Lab Knife . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .$10.00Carbide Barrel Bur . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .$10.95Acrylic . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .$26.95Dapen Dish . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $26.95Disposable Spatula . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $26.95Note: As with all construction bites, be sure that when the patient is biting into the Per-Fect Bite thatthe midline is lined up.Note: The vertical and AP position as provided by the Per-Fect Bite can always be modified bygrinding a custom notch on the Per-Fect Bite.PAGEVoice: 800-423-3270 • Fax: 818-407-5445 • www.ApplianceTherapy.com

Temporary Orthodontic Anchor SystemThe Key Advantages of the Ortho AnchorsThe Spider Screw is an anchorage device that can be used during every phaseof orthodontic treatment. Suitable for symmetric or asymmetric anchorage, theSpider Screw assists in the success of the orthodontic treatment, both in adults andadolescents, reducing treatment times without patient cooperation.Extremely versatile due to its small dimensions and unique bracket-like design, theSpider Screw is easily placed in maxilla or mandible, even where bone thicknessis limited. The self-tapping feature makes it easily implantable as an ordinarymaxillo-facial screw. Immediate loading is possible because it is designed as a nonosteointegrable implant and consequently force can be applied immediately afterplacement.Starter Kit - 1 kitIncludes: 2x spiral drills, contra anglepick-up driver, screwdriver body, crosshandle driver shaft, pick-up handle shaft, handle driver short, and organizer425-100 Starter Kit each . . . . . . . . $799.00PAGEBracket LikeHead DesignRoundEyelet withPerpendicularSlotsShort or LongNecksSelf-Tapping,No Pre-DrillingRequiredFeatures & Benefits• Reduces treatment time• Allows for immediate loading• Bracket design is easy to work with• Easily attach springs, wire, elastics, chain• Replaces the need for headgear• Eliminates the need for patient compliance• Can be easily placed• Correcting all Malocclusions• Distalization and Mesialization• Intrusion and Extrusion• Protraction and Retraction• Grade 5 Titanium Construction• Nickel Free for Sensitive Patients• 1.5 mm Diameter BodyShort Neck Screws, each . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $79.95Neck – 1.0mm1.5mm diameter body425-101 6.5mm425-102 8.0mm425-103 10.0mmLong Neck Screws, each . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . $79.95Item #: Length Long Neck – 2.0mmNeck – 1.0mm1.5mm diameter body425-104 6.5mm425-105 8.0mm425-106 10.0mmSelf-Drilling ThreadSelf–drilling and self tapping.Due to the design of the conicalthread drilling is eliminated inmost areas of the mouth.
