Gas Cylinder.weight of one to hold 10 cubic feet of gas is not more than15 lb., and the outside dimensions for this capacity 4 inchesin diameter and 19 or 20 in length.It might be supposed at first sight that such things mustbe essentially of a dangerous nature, but when the largenumber of cylinders in constant use all over the world istaken into consideration, the almost entire immunity fromaccident should beget confidence in reasonable minds.Still, as there is the potentiality of a great deal of mischiefin a charged cylinder, they should not be treated withunnecessary violence.
