Schedule GPUS Night Of Music<br />
The annual program of general<br />
music will be presented at<br />
the Grosse Pointe University<br />
School on Friday, April 28. Sev"<br />
eral groups from the music classes<br />
will perform, including the<br />
upper school band and choir.<br />
Featured on the program will<br />
be the Chapel Choir, a select<br />
singing group directed by Jean<br />
Diekoff who will be assisted by<br />
accompanists ~Irs. G e r h a r d<br />
Wuerscher and Joe Pehrson.<br />
The Chapel Choir will sing selections<br />
ranging from 17th century<br />
folk songs to modern spirituals.<br />
Making their second annual<br />
appearance on the Night of :.\Iusic<br />
will be the Faculty Chorus<br />
directed by Sue Hughes and accompanied<br />
by J"erry Hughes.<br />
Guest soloist with this group<br />
will be Richard Johns, conductor<br />
of the Grosse Pointe Com-<br />
~<br />
munity Chorus. Also providing<br />
accompaniment for the Faculty<br />
Chorus will be Henry Klein,<br />
string bass; and Tim Marks,<br />
drums.<br />
There is no admission charge<br />
and the program will begin at<br />
7:'15 p.m. in the University<br />
School Auditorium.<br />

City Police received a report<br />
on Friday. April 21, from Dr.<br />
John M. Delaney, 701 Lincoln<br />
roarl, stating that someone had<br />
entered his unlocked car. park.<br />

and 8:15 a.m., and removed the<br />
gear shift knobs and stereo<br />
tape. The wires leading to the<br />
radio were cut. Police are in.<br />
vestigating.<br />
