About This GuideSolarEdge Installation Guide for Three Phase Inverters – EU – MAN-01-00016-1.52About This GuideThis user guide is intended for Photovoltaic (PV) system owners, installers,technicians, maintainers and integrators who are authorized to install andconnect a SolarEdge power harvesting system.This guide describes the process of installing SolarEdge power optimizersand SolarEdge Three Phase Inverters. This guide does not describe how toinstall the PV modules. The inverter models covered in this guide are:SE8k, SE10k and, SE12k. The power optimizer models covered in theguide are OP250-LV, OP300-MV, OP400-MV, PB250-AOB, PB350-AOB,PB250-TFI and PB350-TFI.The guide includes the following chapters:• Chapter 1, Introducing the SolarEdge Power Harvesting System,page 9, introduces the components of the SolarEdge power harvestingsolution.• Chapter 2, Installing the Power Optimizers, page 15, describes howto install the SolarEdge power optimizers.• Chapter 3, Installing the Inverter, page 25, describes the process ofinstalling and connecting a SolarEdge Three Phase Inverter.• Chapter 4, Commissioning the Installation, page 37, describes howto activate the system, commission the power optimizers and verify theproper functioning of the system.• Chapter 5, Replacing and Adding System Components, page 46,describes how to replace or add various SolarEdge system componentsafter the initial installation.• Chapter 6, Setting Up Communication, page 50, describes how toinstall and set up communication between the inverter and theSolarEdge Monitoring Server.• Chapter 7, Inverter User Interface, page 61, describes how toconfigure the inverter and how to identify its status.
