ACTIO Full Chassis with Oscillation:one feature, many plus pointsThe System known as ACTIO consists of a powerful, steelsection which forms an integral part of the axle, whichhouses both a front and rear transmission and has anarticulated joint which allows for longitudinal oscillationof a good 15 degrees.Essentially with ACTIO the SRX acts as a single unit made up of two completely independent trac<strong>to</strong>rs of the same mass anddimension which oscillate independently of each other following the con<strong>to</strong>urs and different gradients of the terrain, therebymaintaining constant stability and grip.With its overhanging engine the <strong>to</strong>tal weight of the trac<strong>to</strong>r can be redistributed - 60% of its weight on the front axle and 40%on the rear one. RGS RevGuide System:5 seconds changes your lifeSteering:First ClassWith the RGS system the Ergit SRX inverts the drive direction in5 seconds. It is sufficient <strong>to</strong> release the block on the driver seat <strong>to</strong> makethe monogroup, which consists of the seat-steering wheel-dashboardpedalboard, rotate through 180 degrees. The result is amazing: it not onlydoes it offer a different field of vision but also the trac<strong>to</strong>r’s operationaladvantages increase, because with just one trac<strong>to</strong>r, the SRX, you can domany things well in very little time.The RGS system plays an integral part of the trac<strong>to</strong>r’s multifunctionality,it simplifies the task at hand, increases accuracy and quality anddramatically reduces any stress <strong>to</strong> the opera<strong>to</strong>r.We really can say: 5 seconds changes your life!The SRX is an articulated trac<strong>to</strong>r with a short wheel base and is especially good at slalom movements and getting amongstnarrow-row crops rapidly.It’s exceptional turning circle is markedly improved by disengaging the front axle; with a track of around one metre the steeringangle is first class, whilst maintaining extraordinary balance even on sloping terrain.The rear wheels follow the track of the front ones thereby reducing ground compaction <strong>to</strong> a minimum and allowing it <strong>to</strong> be usedon delicate terrain without damaging it.The hydraulically servo-assisted steering wheel is sensitive and assures great accuracy of manoeuvre and rapid disengagement inall situations: on slopes, with transverse speeds, in difficult situations.ADVANTAGES• Rotating monogroup, which consists of the seat-steering wheel-dashboard-pedal board = inversion of the drivedirection without disrupting any connection.• Centre of rotation of the monogroup coincides with the centre of the driver seat = constant visibility of equipment inboth drive directions.• Clutch and brake pedals are suspended from the monogroup and can be turned over and folded away = no needfor two sets of controls; more space available for the opera<strong>to</strong>r in both drive positions; rotation effected withoutinterference from the gear stick.ADVANTAGES• Articulated oscillating chassis with special central homokinetic coaxial double joint with double universals = extraordinarysteering, low noise levels;• Internal steering radius 1.85 m (72.8 in), external 2.85 m (112.2 in) = on traditional trac<strong>to</strong>rs, by narrowing the track, thesteering angle is limited, this results in two problems (1) a limit <strong>to</strong> the axle oscillation angle, (2) reduction in the steering angle,even if only by 10° - this can cause wheels <strong>to</strong> interfere with the panels, and also produces a larger turning radius.• Hydraulic system “group1”, completely independent, receives its power directly from the engine = serves first of all thehydroguide system and then the controls’ solenoid valves thereby guaranteeing that the steering is always power assisted.

First and foremost its efficient, streamlined designallows it <strong>to</strong> easily penetrate the crops, guarantees easy access,provides more space for the foot board, protects and surrounds theopera<strong>to</strong>r, and allows for rapid inspection.The driver’s seat and cab are positioned on a perfectly sealedplatform which is “suspended” on Silent Block bearings whichcounteract against noise and vibrations and which reduce shockswhile the trac<strong>to</strong>r is moving.PLATFORM THAT RESTON 4 “silent blockS”The central posotion of the driver’s seat isallows an excellent view of the ground and theequipment in both drive directions (RGS);furthermore it is positioned at the trac<strong>to</strong>r’scentral point of oscillation therefore shakingand transverse movements are reduced <strong>to</strong> aminimum and even after many hours of workthere is no sensation of tiredness.The instrument panel is amongst the bestand is easy <strong>to</strong> read: there is a screen whichby day is antireflective and back lit by night,an “on-off” information system (only thefunctions in use appear on the display), adigital speedometer and rev-counter for thePTO. “Star light” Cab:visibly in the vanguardWith its essential design the “Star light” cab can get between the narrow rowed crops without damaging blooming plants or fruits.The <strong>to</strong>tal living space in the cab is large in both drive directions. All surfaces, doors included, are completely transparent,allowing, in this way, perfect visibility. The basic 3 lever [M] systemguarantees the functioning of equipment with hydraulic mo<strong>to</strong>rsand rams movements even when used simultaneously.It is made up of 3 distribu<strong>to</strong>rs: two double effect connected <strong>to</strong>the rear and one simple effect connected <strong>to</strong> the rear and oneoutlet for returning oil.The basic standard configuration is made up of 6 quickcouplings on the rear.ADVANTAGES• No interference with “group one” hydraulic system• Less heating of the oil• Constant speed of hydraulic mo<strong>to</strong>rsThe front ancillary hydraulic system* [L] with its electroniccontrol is made up of one simple effect distribu<strong>to</strong>r with capacityregula<strong>to</strong>r, an outlet for returning oil and two double effectdistribu<strong>to</strong>rs. This system is used with equipment such as cuttingmachines, pruning machines, binding machines and shreddersetc. To increase its efficiency it is possible <strong>to</strong> fit an oil coolingsystem from “group 2” (power lift-PTO).Numerous configurations can be achieved, up <strong>to</strong> 10 quick [N]engagement, front, hydraulic outlets.The SRX’s completely independent PTO [O] is available in twospeeds: 540 rpm and 540E (750 rpm).As standard, the PTO is synchronised with the speeds of thegearbox which can be set while the vehicle is in motion andthis manoeuvre is indispensable when in critical situations withtrac<strong>to</strong>r and trailer.The PTO’s shaft is type ASAE 1 3/8 and is the same for allspeeds.ADVANTAGES• PTO shaft comes fitted with special chamfers = easyengagement of cardan shaft.• Speed 540E (750 rpm) = notable fuel saving• PTO is synchronised with the speeds of the gearbox which canbe set while the vehicle is in motion = ideal for using trac<strong>to</strong>rtrailersand other equipment.The PTO clutch has electrohydraulic controls and progressiveengagement [Q] with a safety switch which prevents the accidentalactivation of the engine when the PTO is on.
