ELIGIBILITYEligibility to SMEs Skills Upgrading Programmes:♦ Manufacturing sector (includingagricultural-based industries) and manufacturingrelatedservices - annual sales value is not morethan RM25 million or with less than 150 full-timeemployees♦ Services sector (including ICT) - annual salesvalue is not more than RM5 million or with lessthan 50 full-time employees♦ SMEs must be registered under theCompanies Act 1965 (Private LimitedCompanies) or under the Registration ofBusiness Act 1956 (Enterprise Companies) withmajority Malaysian shareholders (minimum 60%)FACILITATOREncik Muhsin Ahamed has been in themanufacturing industry for over 10 years,working his way up from Production Supervisor toManufacturing Section Head to HumanResource Development Manager. He hasin-depth hands-on experience in various areas ofmanufacturing such as production, scheduling,planning and testing. In addition, hismanufacturing experience also includes the set-upof new production lines.A degree holder with a Bachelor of Science inChemistry, Muhsin also holds several diplomasand certificates in Management, ElectronicsEngineering, Computer Programming andTechnology-based Training. As a HumanResource Development Manager, he hasdesigned, developed and implemented varioustraining programmes in Management,Supervisory, Quality Control and ManufacturingTechnology.
