INTRODUCTIONThe SPR is a processor designed to operate in conjunction with the DS8, DS21S, DS15, and DS15RMicro Series, MC1 & MC2 optimizing equalization, filtering, protection and distribution of signals. Each channel features Vocal/Music switch making it possible to select the appropriate setting and thesubsonic protections best adapted to the type of signal. The position “Vocal” emphasize frequencies in the band “media” necessary. intelligibility and limit theresponse to the low frequencies. The “Music” position makes it possible to obtain a linear frequency response on the full bandwidth. Itcould be in particular selected when the speakers are in “side fill” configuration or for the stagemonitor used for instruments reproduction or “playback” application.A reverse phase switch and (“mute”) supplement each section. The balanced in puts and out puts onconnector XLR in conjunction with a ground loop cancellation circuit, make it possible to interfacequickly and without problem the SPR with any professional installation.Static processor for stage monitors 3

DESCRIPTION OF CONTROLSFRONT PANELEach channel comprises 3 keys :1) Vocal/music : This key, switches on a corrector increasing the harmonics of the voice and certaininstruments such as acoustic guitar, flute, saxophone, trumpet, etc. When this key is switched off, oneswitched on an EQ extending frequency response, while providing a low frequency protection.2) Phase (rev / normal) : This key switched on a polarity reverse intended to correct possible errors ofwiring or acoustic oppositions of phase.3) ON/OFF : This key makes it possible to cut or not the signal.4) Power : This LED indicates if power is on or off.The SPR can be left continuously under operation, there is no switch sector.REAR PANELInputs and outputs of the SPR are electronically balanced, the connectors are of type XLR 3 pins. The SPR uses a hum loop eliminator. If any hum or buzz occurs, it is not caused by a ground loop. The mains receptacle is at the EEC standard with the center prong connected to the ground. For obvious safety reasons it should always connected. The mains fuse must be replaced only with the same type and value.230 Vac 0.1 A TempStatic processor for stage monitors 5
