She bore her long confinement with Christian fortitude and resignation, and enjoyed the use ofher faculties to the last. She died trusting in Jesus as her all and in all.At Glenhoul, parish of Old Luce, on the 23d inst., Mr Alexander M'Culloch, farmer there, in the 63d year ofhis age, after a protracted confinement, which he bore with Christian patience and resignation. He wasequalled by few for true and unassuming benevolence. She bore her long and severe suffering with greatpatience and resignation to the will of God, being possessed of a strong and well regulated mind whichshe had well stored with pages of the book of God, the promises of which were the only food thatnourished her in her last illness, and the staff upon which she leaned in going down to the dark valley ofthe shaddow of death.Here, on the 25th ult., Mr Samuel Prince, aged 22 years. of his valuable existence, he faithfully broke to his people the bread of life, and ministered in every otherrespect to their welfare. He was a graduate in Medicine of the University of Edinburgh, and evergenerously placed his medical skill, which was reckoned sound and acute, at the call of his parishionersand neighbours.
