2TheV110T KSMVolumetricWaterMeterThe V110T KSM meter is designed for themeasurement of cold potable water andoffer accurate, long maintenance-freelife and is highly-resistant to tampering.The range includes three differentclass C meters to suit maximum flowrates from 3.0m 3 /h to 7.0m 3 /h. TheV110T KSM's are suitable for watertemperatures up to 50˚C and a maximumworking pressure of 1600 kPa. Standardcounter registration is m 3 and litres. Thismeter has a blended UV stabilisedpolyacetal engineeringplastic body.It is a semi-positive rotary piston type wetdial water meter. It has a sealed wet dialcounter and a 7mm thick lens completewith a non-return valve and pulseoutput facility.Compliance with standardsEvery V110T KSM water meter is individuallytested over its flow range before despatch.Performance figures for the KSM rangemeet the requirements of the following:• Approved by SABS 1529-1:1994.• ISO 4064-1.• Approval number SA842The meter has an approved pulse outputand is also approved for both vertical andhorizontal installations.CounterThe combined counter and gear unit isliquid filled and sealed, with a simplestraight-reading presentation. The numberrollers are totally immersed in a non-toxicliquid which acts as a lubricant.
