General installation detailsbCavity depth and ventilationFor a continuous ventilation behind the panel, Tresparecommends the free air cavity depth between therainscreen cladding and the insulation or wallconstruction to be between 20 and 50 mm, in order toallow for ambient air to flow through from the ventilationinlets and outlets. Ventilation inlets and outlets must bethe equivalent of minimum 50 square cm per linear meterover the whole façade. Cavity depth as well as ventilationinlets and outlets must be in accordance with applicablebuilding standards, regulations and certificates.Fixing detail防 Hole diameter for fixed point is equal to the shankdiameter of the screw.防 Hole diameter for sliding point (slotted hole) is equal toscrew head diameter + 3 mm.防 Groove dimension: minimum 2.2 x 15 mm.防 Minimum remaining panel edge thickness is 2.9 mm.防 Halved (overlapping) joint height: 25 mma防 Metal tongue: 2 x 30 mm x (panel height minus 35 mm)防 Screws must always be centered in the holes and mustnot be over tightened.bbSub-frameTrespa® Meteon® panels must be installed on a sub-frameof sufficient strength and permanent durability. Qualityand/or treatment of the sub-frame must be in accordancewith applicable building standards, regulations andcertificates.Sliding pointFixed point3Please check www.trespa.info for the latest version of this document
