General Safety RulesWARNINGRead all instructions: Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in electric shock,fire and/or serious injury. Save these instructions.Power Tool Use and Care• Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. The correct power toolwill do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.• Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any power tool that can not becontrolled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.• Disconnect the plug from the power source before making any adjustments, changing accessories, orstoring power tools. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power toolaccidentally.• Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the powertool or these instructions to operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands ofuntrained users.• Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and anyother condition that may affect the power tools operation. If damaged, have the power tool repairedbefore use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.• Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Inserting the battery pack intopower tools that have the switch on invites accidents.• Never attempt to open the battery pack for any reason.• Do not expose the battery pack to water.• Do not store the battery pack in locations where the temperature may exceed 104° F (40° C).• Charge the battery pack only at ambient temperatures between 40° F (4° C) or above 104° F (40° C).Service• Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts.
