coverage shall be such as to fully protect the Council and the general public from anyand all claims for injury and damage resulting by any actions on the part of thecontractor or his forces as enumerated above. The successful contractor shall be required to furnish acopy of the original Certificate of Insurance naming The Council as additional insuredand it shall be stated on the insurance certificates that this coverage is primary to othercoverage The Council may possess. Should any of the policies be canceled before theexpiration date, the issuing company will mail 30 days written notice to certificateholder.3.17. Included costs: The service required to maintain design functionality of stand-bygenerators by supplying all labor, travel, lodging and meals and related expenses,fluids and materials, equipment and supplies required for inspections, testing, fullmaintenance and monitoring of the various generators necessary to maintain and/orcorrect the equipment in a fully operational condition during the contract period.3.18. Site Access: Many of the locations referenced herein are remote, mountain top,locations. It should be considered that roads leading to the site are often the typesimilar to logging trails or access roads. The successful bidder should understand thatit is their responsibility to access the site.3.19. Approved equipment & parts: The contractor shall test, service, and maintain systemsusing only U.L. listed and manufacturer's approved testing equipment andreplacement parts. The integrity of the system shall be maintained at all times.3.20. Compliance with regulations: All services shall be performed in accordance withcurrent local, state and federal standards and regulations, and shall comply withmanufacturer's recommendations. If, while this agreement is in effect, any standardsor regulations are amended in such a manner as to require modification of the servicesrendered, the contractor shall notify the Council in writing. Any additional work andcharge shall be negotiated at that time.3.21. 4. REQUIRED <strong>MAINTENANCE</strong>:Offerors shall submit proposals for semi-annual services (visual inspections andoperations as necessary to examine, adjust, calibrate as necessary, clean, and report thecondition of equipment per manufacturer's specifications). Offers shall also submitinformation on emergency services.4.01.
