Support ServicesThe <strong>Brain</strong> <strong>Aneurysm</strong> <strong>Foundation</strong> eases the diagnosis, procedural and recovery process for survivors and families byproviding phone support, email support, support groups, our main website, and our support website.The online support website at www.bafsupport.org, which The <strong>Brain</strong> <strong>Aneurysm</strong> <strong>Foundation</strong> launched in 2010, has grown andnow has over 3,700 members, all affected by brain aneurysms either as survivors or family members.Support groups offer brain aneurysmsurvivors and their families theopportunity to share life experiences,work through challenges and findnew ways to adapt to changes intheir life. The goal of support groupmeetings is to help alleviate fearsand concerns through education andgroup discussions. Survivors realizethat they are not alone.Survivors and caregivers share theirexperiences and show support tothose that are in need. The healing ofthe spirit is just as important as thatof the body. In <strong>2012</strong>, the number ofsupport groups continued to grownationwide. Support groups now existin 58 locations.
