Quilting 102ClassThe Quilting 102 class buildson the skills learned in theQuilting 101 class. However,if you didn‟t take the Quilting101 class and are proficient insewing a quarter inch seamand rotary cutting, you willfind the techniques taught inthis class useful. This fourweekclass emphasizes 9-patch star quilt blocksconstructed with half-squaretriangles, quarter-squaretriangles and 45-degreeconnector corners.Additional topics coveredinclude grain lineconsiderations, sashings, useof cornerstones, straight andon-point settings, borderswith flat piping/flange,layering, basting, and basicfree-motion quilting.The class will meet from 9a.m. to noon on ThursdaysMay 5, 12, 26 and June 9 atSt. Andrews EpiscopalChurch.
