A very warm welcome...

to another year of holidays. We are delighted to present our selection for

summer 2008 which, as always, offers good quality and value for money. As a

family firm we fully appreciate the importance of getting it right, and therefore

go to great lengths to achieve this. We have some super new tours with lots of

interesting inclusions – just take a look at The Charm & Beauty of Surrey on

page 6, Waterways in and around the Capital on page 13, Great Houses &

Gardens of Norfolk on page 14 and two interesting Northumbria holidays on

pages 15 and 16.And there’s more! If you’ve always fancied a cruise, but wanted

to stay close to Blighty we’ve got just the one for you on page 45 – a cruise

around the British Isles on Norwegian Cruise Lines’ Norwegian Jade.

No matter what your interest and budget we hope you will find holidays to suit

and we look forward to welcoming you on board and having the pleasure of

your company on one or more of our 2007 holidays.

John & Judy Welsh

Our Coaches...

are the finest available today; our

fleet of luxury Setra touring

coaches offer unprecedented levels

of comfort and safety, together with an

unequalled rude quality and a very quiet interior. In addition, the special seats with

extra padding not only look good but are wonderfully comfortable as the

computer optimised design ensures orthopaedically ideal ergonomics.

We have continued to update our fleet in 2007, and over half our fleet are ‘extra

legroom coaches’ which give an even more comfortable and luxurious holiday

experience. All our continental departures and selected UK tours are operated with

these vehicles; look for the

logo on each itinerary.

CHILDREN’S HOSPICE APPEAL 2007

John’s ‘fines’ for calling his coach a b-- have resulted in just

under £300 being sent to the Bluebell Children’s Hospice

Appeal during 2007. We will continue what is now a

tradition of sending a donation to Weston Park Hospital at

Sheffield instead of buying business Christmas Cards.

Our hotels are carefully selected and continually

monitored so that you can be sure of a warm

welcome whichever destination you chose,

whether you prefer 3 or 4 star luxury or a family

run establishment. Rest assured though that you'll

always get good quality at value for money prices.

Included in the hotel description are AA, RAC and

Tourist Board ratings as appropriate for our UK

holidays. This absence of a rating does not

necessarily mean a lower standard of hotel, but

simply non-membership of the organisation in

question. Standards in Europe vary from country to

country. The official rating is included in the hotel

description where there is a compulsory rating in

the country concerned, otherwise an indication of

the standard if given.

Child reductions are available on most holidays

but the amount varies according to the individual

hotel. We will be pleased to advise of the

reductions upon request.

Wheelchairs

We are happy to transport your wheelchair, but

due to limited luggage space it is important you

arrange this when making your reservation. Recent

developments in electric scooters has meant that we

are happy to change our policy and carry the new

breed of very small, lightweight scooters such as the

Autogo which weigh no more than 21 kgs and fold

to dimensions of 22x21x38 inches. Please be aware

that our drivers are not responsible for the folding or

loading of these machines and nor are we able to

pick your scooter up at home. Should you wish to

hire a wheelchair or scooter in resort our office staff

will be pleased to make the necessary enquiries and

assist with arrangements on your behalf.

5% Discount

We would like to remind you of the super

discount available if you book four holidays

featured in this brochure which depart between 21

March and 26 October: holidays need not be

booked at the same time and holidays under five

days count as one half tour for this purpose, 5%

will be deducted from the cost of your fourth

holiday and from all subsequent 2008 holidays -

including late availabilities. Simply remind our

office staff that you qualify and be ready to quote

your eligible holidays (no discount available where

the selling price is reduced by Welsh's).

Booking is easy!

Simply telephone or call in at either of our booking

offices. We will hold a provisional reservation for up

to seven days during which time we need to

receive your deposit (£40 for European tours, £15

for UK holidays except those including a theatre

ticket when the deposit increases to £50)

together with any insurance premium. A ready

completed booking form presented with your

payment is of great help to us. Please see details

of the insurance we offer on the booking form; if

you wish to travel on a UK holiday without

insurance please complete part B of the insurance

disclaimer on the reverse of the booking form. If

you have made you own insurance arrangements

would you kindly complete part A on the reverse

of the booking form.

You can now pay for your holiday using

any of the following cards:

We can advise of seating availability at the time of

enquiry, and make a provisional booking. You then

have seven days in which to pay your deposit.

date. No remainder is issued. CHEQUES SHOULD

BE MADE PAYABLE TO WELSH'S COACHES LTD,

please. We are happy to accept payment by credit

or debit card, in person at either office or by

Our Door to Door Service

Most holidays of four days or more in

this brochure include a free pick up from and

return to home for the areas listed on the centre

insert. Please read carefully the conditions which

apply to this service. Our home pick up service is

also available at a supplement in areas further

afield. A supplement is charged (see the centre

insert for details) and added to your holiday costs

which you then settle as normal six weeks before

departure (or earlier in the case of air holidays).

Itineraries

On occasions it may be necessary to alter the

order of excursions and, to ensure compliance

with evermore stringent regulations, it may be

necessary to combine two half day excursions

to give the driver his required days off. Your

understanding is appreciated.

Baggage

Would you please note that due to space limitation

on board the tour coach and in taxis/ mini buses

operating our door to door collection service and

because of Health and Safety issues relating to our

employees, you are asked to keep luggage to one

medium sized suitcase per person together with

hand luggage which can be stowed safely under

your seat on the coach.

The only exception to

this is when travelling

on continentalholidays 20”

and the information 20kgs

before departure

suggests the use of a

Coach Seating Plan

The plan on this page

applies to the majority

of our vehicles but

please note that whilst

we will do our utmost

not to make any

changes to seating

arrangements, we do

retain that right: if a

coach with a different

seating layout is being

used or we need to
