Power supplyConnect the power supply wires to the terminals 1-Line and 3-Neutral (2 earth) and powerup the instrument. Set-Point adjustmentSet-point 1 Push SET key, the corresponding GREEN LED, will flash and the display will show thevalue previously set (default 500 mV). Adjust using the UP and DOWN keys until the display reaches the desired value. Press the SET button to confirm, the hysteresis setting is shown next. The display will show previously set value (default 0000H), Adjust by pressing the Upand DOWN buttons. This is in steps of 10 mV (1h=10mV, 2H=20mV). Press the Set key to confirm the value and to move on to the delay time setting. The display shows the delay time value to active or deactivate the set-point (default00d= 0 seconds). Adjust by pressing the UP and DOWN keys to modify the valuefrom 0 to 99 seconds. The delay time activates on powering up the instrument. Duringthe delay time the state of the relay will not change irrespecitve of the mV value, thisis to allow time for the reading to stablise. Press the SET button to confirm the value and move to adjusting Set-point 2.Set point 2 Adjusting Set-point 2 is exactly the same as Set-point 1. FunctionsFunctions 1 to 8 control how the instrument operates, selecting A (activate) or d(deactivate) changes the behaviour of the relays. Factory default is for all functions = d.Active / Deactive instrument functions Push FUN key, the display will show F1 with the function state (d = Deactived, A =Actived).Pressing the UP or DOWN buttons alters the function state.To confirm choice press the FUN key, if you have changed the function state, theinstrument will store the value and return to the operating mode; otherwise it cycles tothe next function up to function F8, then back to the operating mode.During set-up, if no buttons are pressed for 60 seconds the instrumentautomatically reverts back to operating modeDirect or reverse modeFunction Set-point 1 mode: direct (below set-point relay closed)F1_dFunction Set point 1 mode: reverse (above set-point relay closed)F1_AFunction Set-point 2 mode: direct (below set-point relay closed)F2_dFunction Set point 2 mode: reverse (above set-point relay closed)F2_A.Factory default is for all functions to be deactivated, therefore the output relay is closedwhen the measurement is lower then the set-point value. Inside this range the relay is off, outside this range the relay is on. It ispossible to reverse this condition by changing the parameters F1 and F2. 4-20mA current outputFunction Relay on set point 2 ON/OFF control and 4-20mA output for recorderF6_dFunction Relay on set point 2 proportional time/pause and 4-20mA outputF6_A proportional to the set point 2 valueWith F6 deactived (default) the set-point 2 relay operates in simple ON/OFF mode and theisolated 4-20 mA output signal is proportional to the full scale range (4 mA = 0 mV; 20mA = 1000 mV).When F6 is actived, the set-point 2 relay operates in proportional time/pause mode & the4-20 mA output signal is proportional to the set-point value.With F6 activated the signal is 4 mA when the reading is at the set-point value andincreases the further the reading moves away from the set point. Using the F2 function itis possible to choose whether the 4-20 mA signal operates above or below the set point.(activated = above; deactivated = below)4-20mA proportional rangeFunction4-20 mA proportional signal on set point 2 with range of 100 mVF7_dFunction4-20 mA proportional signal on set point 2 with range of 50 mVF7_AThis function alters the range over which the 4 -20 mA ouput changes.
