3. <str<strong>on</strong>g>Global</str<strong>on</strong>g> <str<strong>on</strong>g>Perspective</str<strong>on</strong>g> <strong>on</strong> N<strong>on</strong>-<strong>communicable</strong> <strong>Disease</strong> Preventi<strong>on</strong> <strong>and</strong> C<strong>on</strong>trol3.8 The Bangkok Charter for Health Promoti<strong>on</strong> 6 adopted in 2005 in the6th <str<strong>on</strong>g>Global</str<strong>on</strong>g> C<strong>on</strong>ference <strong>on</strong> Health Promoti<strong>on</strong> (Exhibit 22) highlights thechanging c<strong>on</strong>text of global health <strong>and</strong> identifies major challenges, keycommitments <strong>and</strong> required acti<strong>on</strong>s that need to be addressed throughhealth promoti<strong>on</strong> by many actors <strong>and</strong> stakeholders.
