What have we done so faron climate adoption?– A City Council decision on a Climate Planincluding adoption to new conditions– Service to our citizens: Mapping of riskareasand a warning system– A new Wastewater Plan 2010-2012 withconditions on climate adoption (decisionby City Council on the 22 of June 2011)– A City Council decision to built a highwater-gateagainst flooding in the towncenter (projecting is finished andconstruction is just about to start)NATUR OG MILJØTeknik og MiljøAarhus Kommune


Overall Water PlanningMajor Municipality tasks:• Water Supply Plan for drinking and production• Waste Water Plan: limits of pollution, degree oftreatment and part of the growth of the city• The water in the rivers, lakes and the sea:clean according to European Union standards –also major public interests on flood control,biodiversity and recreational valueNATUR OG MILJØTeknik og MiljøAarhus Kommune
