An enlargedprostate in men mightalso be the cause of urinaryincontinence. Two sphincters situated aroundthe urethra help to close itand control urination. Disfunctioningsphincters might causeurinary incontinence. The action of the pelvic musclesis very important. They need tocontract quickly and supportother organs when leakagerisks occur, for example, whencoughing and sneezing.
