VI T.N.P expresses however their will for anegotiation in order to come to an international agreement and enters a reservations regardingto sanctions concerning Iran. Indeed, it is of major importance to come to a solution bycreating dialog between the concerned countries and to avoid tension on the internationalscene, notably in the still unstable situation in the Middle East.

Europa Universität Viadrina Frankfurt OderKulturwissenschaftliche FakultätLehrstuhl für Politikwissenschaften IIProf. Dr. Jürgen NeyerIngrid Kuhn 34206 (MES 2. Sem.)Jonas Sachtleber 31003 (KuWi 3. Sem.)The Republic of Lebanon calls the conference to:A negotiation between State members of the Treaty of Non-proliferation coming to thenuclear disarmament of Iran but including concrete steps to see the real progression of thedisarmament until all the nuclear weapons are eliminated. The Republic of Lebanon considers that in the agenda of the Conference 2010, it is of majorimportance to create a committee of verification in order to see if the agreement and thepromises are coming to a real implementation in reality and this not only in Iran but also inthe other Nuclear State. The nuclear presence must be only peacefully used, as in Teheran forhis medical research and not for military aims. It’s our duties to verify this point.Another major point is to remind that Israel, Pakistan and Nord Korea are still not member tothe Treaty, and it is the duty of the State member of the T.N.P to create another conference toopen the dialog with these countries and find a solution for a complete nuclear disarmament.Summing up:• We recognize the nuclear weapons and the possibility of building them as aninternational threat.• The problem concerning nuclear power and its use should be solved with negotiationand international dialogue – instead of the implementation of sanctions.• We affirm to tackle the conflict by concrete steps – like the foundation of aninternational committee to verify the possession of nuclear weapons and achieveprogressive disarmament in the Middle-East.Yours Faithfully – The Lebanese UN-Delegates for the committee on the Non-Proliferation Treaty and the Iran nuclear Program.
