Commissioner, U.T., Chandigarh. During the validity of tender thefirm will be bound to deliver the letters/parcels as per requirementwithin the stipulated period. In case the firm fails to provide theservices continuously for a period of 10 days, the contract will becancelled and action will be initiated to debar the firm fromparticipating in further tender. Action will also be initiated forblacklisting of the firm.13) The tender forms are non-transferable.14) The income tax shall be deducted at source as per ratesapplicable under the Rules at the time of making payment to thecontractor.15) The tenderer whose tender may be accepted shall hereinafterbe called the supplier which shall include his heirs, executors,administrators and assignees.16) The tenders received by the specified date and time will only beconsidered.17) The tenders received after the due date and time will be rejectedwithout assigning any reasons.18) Conditional/Ambiguous tenders shall not be accepted.19) The successful bidder will give a certificate to the effect that therates so charged are not higher than those charged to anyother Govt. department during the period.20) The firm shall pick the letters/parcels daily form this office.21) The firm shall submit POD receipts duly attached with the billalongwith the summery report indicating the date of receipt ofletters and date of delivery of the same.22) The letter/parcels should be delivered in the very next day.23) The payment will be made in monthly basis and no advancepayment will be made in any case.24) The earnest money of the successful bidder will be treated assecurity deposit.

25) In case of failure of the tenderer/supplier to execute the contractas per the terms and conditions and to the full satisfaction of theExcise & Taxation Commissioner, U.T., Chandigarh the securitydeposited by the firms shall be forfeited.26) The security deposit will be forfeited in case of violation of anycondition.27) The rates quoted by the tenderer shall be inclusive of all taxesand levies.28) In case the bill is found having over- writing/cutting, the billsubmitted against such work order will not be entertained. Thetenderer shall intimate to the recipient the docket No. of theparcel by e-mail and SMS. The e-mail address and mobile No. ofrecipient shall be provided by the department.29) The firm shall be solely responsible for any act of commission oromission on the part of staff deployed.30) In case of theft or loss, the firm shall be liable to compensate forsuch losses in full a deemed by ETC, in this regard, the decisionshall be final and binding.31) The firm shall be liable to pay penalty imposed by ETC, if any,violation of any terms and conditions.32) In case of any dispute, the decision of the Excise & TaxationCommissioner, U.T., Chandigarh will be final.33) The approved lowest rates will be valid up to one year from thedate of opening of financial bid. The Contract can be extendedwith mutual consent of both parties on approved rates.34) The Excise & Taxation Commissioner, U.T., Chandigarh reservesthe right to reject any or all tenders without assigning any reasons.35) Any legal dispute will be dealt within the jurisdiction of U.T.,Chandigarh.I/We undertake to abide by the terms & Conditions of the tender form.Signature of the TendererAlongwith Rubber Stamp
