Conference Description
We are on the cusp of significant
change in nursing and this opportunity
makes it more critical that nurses focus
on creating environment for learning
Conference Objectives
At the conclusion of the conference,
participants will be able to:
1. Describe and explain current
activities related to trends in nursing;
2. Illustrate and value nursing science
and art as a guide to nursing
practice, education, administration,
and research.
Call for Abstracts
Cebu Normal University College of Nursing
(CNU-CN) invites you to submit an abstract to be
considered for presentation (podium/poster) at
the 1st Cebu International Nursing Conference.
This will be held on April 26 27, 2011 at the
Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casinos,
Cebu City, Philippines.
Note : The official language of this conference is
English.
Guidelines for Abstract Submission
1. Authors are requested to submit their
oral abstract and poster abstract on-line. You
can email your abstract as an attachment to
customer_service@cebuinternationalnursingconference.org
subject line of the email. Postage by mail of
the electronic copy of the paper on a CD is also
allowed. The deadline for abstract submission
is February 15, 2011.
2. Abstracts should be submitted by email, fax
or electronically by completing the submission
template provided.
3. Your abstracts of original works should
be as an MS Word file (Word 97 or later), no
more than 300 words, single spaced, with 2.5 cm
margins (top, bottom and sides), using Times
New Roman with 12.
4. Abstracts will be evaluated blindly by peer
review. Criteria will include relevance to nursing,

methodological rigor, clarity & significance.
5. Abstracts must be presented
in the following format:
» Title (12 Point in bold, capitalized
the first letter of all main words)
» Author(s) name: If more than one
author, provide names for all authors,
and the corresponding author who will
present the paper should be identified
with an asterisk.
» Author(s) Organization Affiliation (s)
» Full postal address and email address of
presenting author
» Blank
» Body text: in Times Roman
» Keywords
6. Authors of abstracts accepted for oral /
poster presentation will be notified on or
before March 15, 2011). The presenter/s will
automatically also serve as reactor/s in the
research category.
7. There is no limit to the number
of submissions per participant.
8. All paper and poster presenters
must register for the conference.
9. Topics should be nursing researches.
