Keeping Welch ® Oil readily available will enable you to respond quickly to accidental oilcontamination or degradation and avoid costly pump repairs or pump replacement. Check the conditionand level of your pump oil daily.Vacuum pump oil can become contaminated withGoodingested fluids and vapors. Use recommended pumpoil and change your pump oil regularly. Cloudy anddiscolored oil will lead to premature pump failure.Bad (Possible Pump Damage)Make the clear choice and change your oil regularly.Pumps and Integrated Pumping Systems Standard WarrantyWELCH WARRANTYThis Welch product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship. The liability ofGardner Denver Thomas, Inc. under this warranty is limited to servicing, adjusting, repairing or replacingany unit or component part which in the judgment of Gardner Denver Thomas, Inc. has not been misused,abused or altered in any way causing impaired performance or rendering it inoperative. No other warrantiesare expressed or implied. The method of executing this warranty: servicing, adjusting, repairing orreplacing shall be at the discretion of Gardner Denver Thomas, Inc. Vacuum pumps that have been usedfor any period, however short, will be repaired under this warranty rather than replaced.NEW PUMPS - STANDARD ONE YEAR WARRANTYThe warranty is effective for one year from the date of original purchase when:1. The warranty card has been completed and returned or registered online.2. The product is returned to the factory or other designatedservice centers, freight prepaid.3. The product in our judgment is defective through no action or faultof the user.REPAIRED PUMPS - STANDARD 6 MONTH WARRANTYThe warranty is effective for 6 months from the date of repair when:1. The product is returned to the factory or other designatedservice centers, freight prepaid.2. The product in our judgment is defective through no actionor fault of the user.3. Product registration is automatic with repair.If the product has become defective through misuse, abuse, or alteration, repairs will be billed regardlessof the age of the product. In this event, an estimate of the repair costs will be submitted and authorizationof these charges will be required before the product is repaired and returned. To reduce additional chargesand delays either within or outside of the warranty period, contact Welch for a return authorization numberby going on-line at www.welchvacuum.com/welch_vacuum_suport/repair_request_form.html or call(847) 676-8800.
