� Small number of qualified RE consultants
� Adherence to established production processes
� Information deficits
� Capacities absorbed by daily business
�Calls for right framework conditions and incentives!

Building on proven instruments - Efficiency Consultation:
• Efficiency Agency (efa) NRW since1998
• BMWi: German Material Efficiency Agency (demea) since 2005
• BMU: VDI Center for Resource Efficiency (VDI ZRE) since 2009
So far BMWi consultation of approx 3,200 enterpises.
Savings potential of approx. 200.000 € p.a. in SME.
