She studied Slavic Languages and Historical Pedagogy.Her debut The Gift from Berlin (2004) was awarded with the Debutants Prize in 2005 and has been published in Germany, Franceand the United Kingdom. She edited the English short stories in World One Minutes and wrote the graphic novel The Cannonballtogether with Michiel Kragten in 2008.
