A Great Boss seeks todevelop a leadership model that may allowus to attract, retain and develop the bestexperts, enabling us to translate talent intoperformance, and bringing about culturalchange throughout the organization.This year, as part of the initiative bythe Executive Management Team (EMT),<strong>Skanska</strong> LA is launching a comprehensiveprogramme conceived to strengthen theGreat Boss model at every level in theorganization, through communication,participation and training performance.This programme seeks to boost adherenceand commitment from everyone throughimplementation of Great Boss, as well asthe development of associated approachesand practices.The project will be carried outthroughout 2008, and will consist of fourstages:1. Develop the programme’s architecture2. Involve every collaborator’sparticipation3. Generate the leaders’ commitment4. Measure full progress made andcommunicate it accordinglyActivities have been designed to becarried out in-person or web-based. This portalshows different components and the variousproposals created for every specificuser profile, as well as the programme’sprogress. The calendar of events for eachregion will also be available, and reservationswill be submitted on-line.In the next days, we will be startingoff with the initial workshops and activitieswith which this project begins.
