POLYPIPERADIATORProduct OverviewThe new Polypipe Radiator Terminal Plate is a multi functional product for use in Polyplumb andPolyfit piping systems.• It provides an air tight seal around pipework entering rooms from wall cavities to feedradiators helping developers to achieve air tightness levels required by Building Regulations• Gives a neat and secure entry point for pipes serving radiators• Ensures pipes are not damaged by rough edges of wall boards or plaster boards• Can be fitted with or without a single gang electrical back box (supplied by others)Product Features• Holes sized to provide interferencefit with pipes giving air tight seal• Three screw holes includedfor additional security• Three bosses allow use withsingle gang electrical back box ifrequired or just act as a cuttingguide for other trades• Pipe guides ensuresmooth, supportedpipe runs• Can be fixed to wall boardingusing panel adhesives
TERMINALPLATEInstallation GuidanceSTEP BY STEPINSTALLATIONINSTRUCTIONS4Thread pipes throughhole cut in wall boardtaking care not to scratchor damage pipes.1Install 10mm flow andreturn pipework downsub-wall with continuousloop long enough forradiator feeds throughwall. Pressure testing ofheating system isrecommended at thisstage.5Pass the pipes through theradiator terminal plate fromback to front using the pipeguides to aid routing. Theyshould be a tight interferencefit through the holes whichprovides the seal. Cutting theends of the pipes at an anglemay help to thread pipesthrough the hole butremember to cut pipessquare again beforeconnecting into a fitting.270mmCut a hole the size of astandard single gangelectrical back box in thewall boarding. Forguidance use the threebosses on the reverse sideof the Polypipe RadiatorTerminal Plate.6Use panel adhesive toseal the Polypipe RadiatorTerminal Plate to the wallboard and if necessaryuse tape or threecountersunk screws tohold the plate in positionwhilst the adhesive sets.70mm3Cut pipes at appropriatepoint to allow for wallboard to be installedensuring enough pipe isleft to reach valves ateach end of radiator.7Fit radiator and valvesand connect the pipes asper normal installationinstructions.
