To introduce WCDHB Health & Safety Policies and Procedures to the workforce by way of theWCDHB Health & Safety Manual.2. To provide resource people for the workforce on Health & Safety matters, referring issues toManager’s, Supervisors, Senior Managers or the Risk management Committee, as appropriate.3. To review action taken on potential/actual hazards identified in workplaces.4. To recommend training requirements ie: in-service education, specific work practices relating toHealth & Safety.5. Consider and recommend on problems/issues referred from staff.6. Review report from Human Resources Database which will identify trends and recommend anyfurther action/investigation.7. Through co-opted Representatives to the Corporate Risk Management Committee, provide averbal report on activities, seek direction and advice and feedback to the Worksite Committees.8. Membership of Health and Safety Representatives - Open membership, plus key resourcepersons from Facilities (Trades), OCS, Management as appropriate. Chaired by Site Manageror delegated authority.9.
