What is Aetna Global Benefits (AGB)?• Aetna Global Benefits (AGB) is a medical option under the NorthropGrumman Health Plan– Provides international and domestic coverage– Dental coverage is included with this option - no additional enrollment for dental isnecessary• Eligibility for AGB– Must have an APO/FPO/DPO or international address on file3


What are the advantages of AGB?• AGB provides both international and domestic coverage• Provides coverage to eligible dependents living in the U.S.• Most facilities have direct pay arrangements with AGB– You would only be responsible for normal deductibles and copayments• If direct pay is not available– AGB can often set up one-time contract to pay facility directly4


Forms of Claim Payments• AGB direct pay to participating providers• Submit claim form with itemized receipt(s) that includes:Provider name and costPatient’s nameDiagnosisDate of serviceType of servicePlace of service– Failure to provide above information may result in AGB’s inability to pay the claim– Program or sector may have to absorb the cost of the claim depending on contractualrequirements– Claims can be sent via secure fax, online, standard or overnight mail• Track claim reimbursement by logging on to Aetna Global Members site• AGB claim form available at Benefits OnLine on the Forms page– http://benefits.northropgrumman.com/Pages/BenefitForms.aspx5


Important Information for TRICARE Enrollees• TRICARE is available to retired military and eligible dependents only• TRICARE may not provide international coverage, depending on theplan elected– All employees covered by TRICARE should check with TRICARE beforedeployment to verify what coverage is available outside the U.S. and whether thereare any limitations to coverage6

Transferring Overseas• Active employee, transferring overseas, enrolled in domestic plan orTRICARE– Must change address to an APO/FPO or international– Once address is changed, enroll in AGB within 31 days– AGB effective date is the same date as address change– No longer eligible for any domestic plan including TRICARE Supplement• Active employee, transferring overseas and not enrolled in a domesticplan– Not eligible to enroll for AGB until Annual Enrollment• Newly hired employee and being transferred overseas– Address must be an APO/FPO/DPO or international address– If only domestic address is available before the transfer, you should enroll indomestic coverage until the APO/FPO/DPO or international address is providedEnrollment must be made within 31 days from date of event8


Relocating to U.S.• Change mailing address to U.S.• Address change considered a qualified life event– Eligible to elect new domestic medical plan option, if enrolled in AGB– Must make elections – including dental – within 31 days from the date of thechange to a U.S. address9
